It's been beat to death but here we go lol

Recommended Posts

I have a 03 SSS AWD

Current mods are

ARH 1 3/4 long tubes

Corsa sport catback

K&n cai

Circle d 278mm 2a 3200 stall

I can't choose between the 228r or the v2

It's a dd and I run it at the track couple times a year. I don't tow anything at all

I currently run 14.6 @93 before the stall and it's not tuned yet

Wanna run it before the tune with stall to see the time and after the tune

My goals are mid 13's or better

Also I love the choppy sound at a red light

Also do I have to replace the injectors with the cam ? And if so what size injectors

Personally I'd spec one out to do what I wanted and to work with what setup I have. I really like mine but it's a little small for the converter. The 228 is a proven cam. The V2 is a little big for the 3200 stall. Spacing one out I think is the way to go. The 228 is also a tad big for a 3200 stall. I really need a 3600 or so but I like the way it drives and it has run a couple of good numbers at the track. All in all you gotta be happy with what you select. Choose wisely. You would prob need to go with some 43lb injectors and to be on the safe side I'd put some new springs and rods. You don't have to but I would. Maybe a shift kit and a servo to firm up shifts.

Injectors must be replaced as your IDC will be well over 100%
