Akslowroller
So I have a fairly big system in my truck. I have all the necessary upgrades. I was running a 300 amp alt. until it started having voltage fluctuations. I changed it out for my factory alt. to see is that stopped the issue. It didn't. For no reason my voltage will be 12.4-15.2 volts with no system running. Any ideas. Oh and how is the voltage regulated?
cb2big4u
Voltage is regulated internally within the alternator. Any extra batteries on the system?
Akslowroller
Yeah one stinger that is isolated.
fast4popper
I had the same issues. Solid grounds and make sure no paint it powder coat in them or the brackets. And finally, I got a 300 amp self energizing alternator from powermaster. Not an issue since
gcosse05
Maybe check the output of the alternator to see if the alternator itself is fluctuating. If not, may have a battery trying to quit on ya Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
