RottenSS
So I bought a pair of switch back LED turn signals and 50 watt 6ohm resistors like it said but still getting the hyper flash. Anyone else have this issue and come up with a fix? 2003 SS
NipRing
Swap out your flasher relay for a Tridon LM487. I got mine on eBay for about $45. Fixed my hyper flashing.
RottenSS
Did you still use load resistors or just bulbs and a new relay?
NipRing
Just the new relay
coal miner
Here's one for 35 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001KS6GIG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1415774308&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70
RottenSS
So even though that says its a GM flasher reply but says it won't fit my vehicle according to the Amazon site. It still will actually work on a 2003 SS?
NipRing
The Tridon lm487 fits my '
bassmaster
So even though that says its a GM flasher reply but says it won't fit my vehicle according to the Amazon site. It still will actually work on a 2003 SS? Some reviews said the same thing, how Amazon says it won't fit but in fact it does. Thanks for the links, will order that instead of messing with resistors Sent from my Galaxy S-Fawhore
MattGuppy
Got mine installed and they are awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np4ywTlFhVo&feature=youtu.be I use one of those new flashers and they work great for me, no resistors is the way to go in my opinion or else you negate the power saving benefit of your LEDs -Matt
coal miner
Fit mine and it's a 04 .
RebelOne
Needs the 3 ohm resistors from V-LED.COM
RottenSS
Yeah now that I know about that relay I'm gonna avoid resistors. Thanks for all the input. Has anyone had issues with their switch back LEDs looking more red than amber? I'm kinda worried about getting pulled over.
