dendrizzi Posted January 23, 2015 Report Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hey guys my 2003 Silverado SS has the dreaded Front Diff Whine. There is talk about using the 4x4 front diff in our trucks. I know "Maintcon" did it on his truck but it was a full rebuild. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something. I was hoping if I could just grab a 2001 or newer low mile 4.10 front diff, pull off the old 4x4 long axle tube with actuator, fork, sleeve, and shaft. Then just switch in my existing long axle tube/ axle from my truck.....and call it a day. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
