Punisher71 Posted January 25, 2015 Report Share Posted January 25, 2015 My transfer case started leaking immediately after I bought it. I had the seals replaced by the dealer I bought it from. About a year later I took a cross country road trip and at some point the transfer case started leaking again. The transfer case was completely destroyed by the time I reached my destination. I had it replaced with a new one which thankfully has a 3 year warranty through GM. The new one was leaking by the time I made it back home from the trip and a local dealership replaced the seal. I found that hole problem in a few forums and replaced it with the aftermarket fix from Merchant Automotive on the original one. It didn't stop the leaking problem.
