Had one briefly and cancelled because I knew I was going to trade before factory warranty expired. ChevelleBoy Posted April 23, 2003 Report Share Posted April 23, 2003 I extended mine to 5 years 50,000 miles. Mainly 'cause the good ole days are gone. I can't work on these things like I could the old ones. The dealer was negotiable and knocked money off the warranty. I had a factory warranty on an Olds several years ago and it really saved my bacon on a transmission and complete airconditioning system before the warranty expired. Those were both big ticket items. 99Xtreme Posted April 23, 2003 Report Share Posted April 23, 2003 I just got one for my GTP,3/36,000 no deductible for $1400.I had one on my Xtreme and was glad because at 39000 the tranny dropped,I only had to pay $100 bucks for a new tranny.
