I just picked up the autometer phantom 5763 and I was wondering if I'm going to need an adapter when I take the piece off the rail. The sender is a 1/8" male thread. That's what I did, but can't remember exactly what size it was. My sending unit had a 1/8" NPT that was way too small. I had to get two adapters to get it to work. Others have done it other ways.
