Power Steering Part Number?

Ok, so last winter I heard my PS pump groan a few times. My truck has 150k on it. So when I was doing the top end of the motor a month ago, at the last minute I decided to swap out the pump. I got one from Autozone. I know guys have said they have had bad luck with non-GM pumps...and I should have listened. It's been a month and this pump has shit out in me. Trying to turn the wheel under 1500 rpms...forget it. Now this autozone pump looked exactly like mine except it had a second low pressure return on the backside. Which I assumed was for hydroboost (which is something I plan on upgrading to in the future anyway, so I thought it was a bonus) and I just capped it. So, I did some digging and I thought I came up with the updated pump part number, 15909826. I was assuming from what I read, this was the new version of what I already had. Ordered it off eBay. It doesn't look right. And before I go through the trouble of pulling it all apart just to put this bad one back in. Can anyone tell me, is there a PS pump, that is intended for hydroboost, that will work in my truck right now? I need a part number. GMs part numbering sometimes makes my head spin.

Thanks

So 15909826 has what looks like one more low pressure return (assuming for hydroboost, which I want in the future). I'm wondering if can cap that for now and use this pump.

yeh, looks like the 15909826 fits 1500hd 6.0 and is for a hydroboost. as far as running it with the capped return, im not 100% sure. I wouldn't think it would hurt anything being that the return will just feed back into the main reservoir on the pump... id try it, if that makes you feel better. ha!
