Devilized
Bought these on ebay for 93 bucks. Sealed them with silicone as I followed what people on here said to do to keep out moisture. Had to open up the holes that the main pin for the headlight go through. Other than that the look great and I am waiting for it to get dark to see how they do on the road. Devilized
A couple pics of the new lights and volant:)
SSmoothSilSS
I was looking into these also, I like the clear look, also got my Volant added this winter.
Devilized
It was a great addition, not the best quality but it will do for now. The volant is amazing as you know. Go for the clears just understand that they aren't a perfect fit so be prepared.
Muggs
Yeah I have to order another set of clears my bottom ones DRL are turning a orange color and the head lights are starting to peal on me, as for the seal even with the silicone one still would get water in it
jddmj
Recently did the same light, but in smoked. I had to open the pin hole up a little, but other than that, they look great. I need to go back and trim my silicon though. It is noticeable in spots.
Devilized
Yeah I'm right there with you, was thinking electrical tape to seal it.
bassmaster
Looks good, the amber turn signals bulb kills it though. Get some chrome bulbs or switchbacks so that orange doesn't illuminate the chrome housing
gcosse05
I have the same ones. Love them. However.. They are starting to have something kind of "melt" off of them. Almost like a clear coat run or something. I'll upload pic in a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

karduke
Nice upgrade. Can you post some night pics with the headlights turned on? Also, is silicone better than the butyl rubber sealant?
jovanny
What do you mean by opening up the pinhole? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk The hole where the pin slides in to hold in the headlight
Devilized
Yeah I need to change the bulbs, hope the lights hold up but for the price who knows
70chevy03ss
Just be care with some of these after market lights mine started to spider crack on the inside and started to leak. Nothing beats oem. But they do look good
Devilized
We shall see how long they last, sure beats some nasty yellow fogged over stickers. If they don't last too long will look for something else but not sure what.
