rickyrick562
I was thinking of running a 285/35/22 or 285/40/22. I know some run a 265/35/22 but the tire seems too small for me. Thanks in advance
kaze_v8
Im at a 4/5 drop, and I don't like rubberband tires. When I was researching back then, I was told the biggest tire I could run without issues was 285/35/22, and ive been running them ever since with no issues. rickyrick562
Do you know if the 285 will tuck or will I have to roll the fenders? Still debating between ss reps 22x10 and dub ballers 22x9.
kaze_v8
I have SS 22x10 and at one point I had my truck lowered about 5" in the front and fully aligned and have never had any rubbing issues on the fenders, only issue was I was scrap a little on the sway bar when turning all the way. My truck is lifted at 4" now, but still no rubbing issues, the wheels were always at least a finger from top of tire to bottom of fender, if that helps. An old pic I found that I posted a while back. This was the lowest I had the truck, 4" for sure and AWD. Idk if you can see very good how far off I am from the fender.
rickyrick562
What about the rear? I know your only lowered 5" in the back but does it look like the reps will tuck without rolling your fenders
kaze_v8
Yeah I would say they do. I see tons of ppl lowered on these wheels and tucking
