r8rs4lf
I will be getting my 22's pretty soon and was wondering if turning the torsions throws off the alignment? I don't know if the height of my truck in the front will remain the same after the 22's are installed. I guess my question is: Do I wait to get the height right in the front with the torsions before getting an alignment done or does it not matter? Thanks Late- Alex
cokedrvrbjw
Your truck should stay the same height if you use the correct tires. You shouldnt need to adjust the tbs to fit em. But if you do...yes it does affect allignment.
r8rs4lf
The reason why I'm asking is because currently, my truck has a bit of a rake right now. It is lower in the front than the rear, about a 1/2" or 3/4". I want it to be even when I install the 22's plus it's rubbing on the plastic things in the fender wells when I make a full turn and that's with the factory 20's. marc_w
Yes - it'll mainly throw off the toe if you mess with the t-bars... That will make your ties wear, and the steering to be jerky - like each tire is fighting to go it's own way. A half or turn or so won't matter a whole lot, but to get a 1/2" or so definitely will.
