Farmtruc
Hey guys, I installed the 3.0" pulley today along with the single pod and autometer boost gauge. The truck has dual exhaust, 2in 2out muffler though, a TB spacer (not sure if it makes a difference), a Radix. The stock Radix pulley has a 3.3" pulley. The 3.0" pulley made a noticable difference over the stock pulley. The stock pulley made exactly 5psi. The 3.0" pulley made 6.5psi thru first, as the boost built a tad, it moved to about 6.8psi and in third it hit exactly 7psi. There was absolutely no detonation and the a/f was still a little rich, (that's superchips tuning). I thought I'd post and let you guys know how it turned out. Next week tuning is happening for the SS. I'm sure there is alot more in there. I just tuned a '02 HD1500 with a magnacharger (sits to the side) and it made a huge difference. He went from a 15.2 to a 14.67 @ 97mph. That 4L80E is an awesome tranny too, removing TM made a big difference. here's the vid of the stock radix pulley, 3.3" stock radix pulley here's the vid of the 3.0" pulley 3.0" pulley btw, after that we raced down the highway and here's that vid: btw, you can't hear my truck, but nothing but wheel spin in first and second, that's why the camera is moving so much, lol. Still, that SS hauls ass. Edited, link fixed Farmtruc vs SS later guys, allen
