You should be able to get custom boxes made at any professional stereo shop. Those boxes are so big and heavy, you wouldn't want them shipped to you. Just go to a nice reputable shop and have it built the way you want. Should definately be less than if you order it anywhere else......and you get to see it before you pay

I'm getting more uncomfortable as the days go by. I have called the husband's cell phone have was able to reach him. He is telling me he's a truck driver and won't be home to ship my items until Monday. But he did say he received my payment and will take care of me. I'm not sure if he was just trying to get me off the phone or was he genuine about shipping this item. However that handicapped wife that I've been communicating with through email is still ignoring my emails. I have emailed them using a different account (asking some other question) and she freakin answered that email!! I know their email system works now. I'm just hoping the husband's a nice guy and comes through with this delivery. I'm NEVER going to use money orders in the future. This is one jacked up transaction..........

I can't seen to get one of these parts for free. My local chevy dealer is quoting me a price of $143 plus labor. Anybody in SoCal have had success in getting one of these free with over 36K miles? I'll have to go to another dealership.......

All the parts are usually looked up with a vin number now. If you provided the parts guy with your vin, he should have been able to look up the red part

Is the price still firm with better offer? Or is the price of under $3000 to be considered?

Traceable....no. But you do have proof that you paid for it! So if you were to file a complaint... you would easily have proof to help back you up.. right? And i agree..money orders are typical not the best way to go abouts things... Sorry man. Hopefully you'll get what you bought! Btw... you bought an exhaust system from a lady in a wheelchair?!? Betcha she sounded good rollin on them dubs... I paid $207 for a brand new corsa sport muffler and corsa 4inch tip. that's shipping included. Only thing missing were the pipes. That's the only reason I paid with money order.....it really was a spectacular deal. And no I didn't know she was in a wheelchair and needed money to support her kids.

Now that I'm not getting the couch, I just ordered a Bumbo seat for my daughter....

Give it another week and see what happens. Some sellers get bothered when someone keeps sending them emails or their internet connection might be down. I always laugh a little when a buyer will pay me, then send an email asking for a tracking number a min after the payment showed up. I'm fast but damn I'm not that fast lol Well I know how impatient people are sometimes....but this seller emailed me daily asking when I mailed the money order. Every single day for 5 days. Stating she was in a wheel chair and needed the money to support her kids (blah blah blah). I told them it was already mailed and after the 5th consecutive day, silence................ That's the last I've heard of that impatient seller. I've since emailed them 3 times the past week and not once have I received a response. Don't you think that's weird after they email you daily for 5 days straight? Honestly, if I knew this seller was that desperate for my money order, I would not have gone through with the transaction. It makes me very uneasy that they are that needy for money and this type of transaction is not traceable.

Arent'they awesome... it cracks me up with the little guy sitting next to me on the floor while we watch TV... only thing else it needs is a cupholder. HAHA!! Tanners 3 months old today... just a month ahead of ya. You can get the bumbo seat at Target or www.bumboshop.com... its recommended for 3 months+ or whenever they can hold their heads up well enough. As for the couch... back cushions are attached, seat cushions are not. FYI - I have someone interested in picking it up Saturday AM for the $350 asking price... I told them there was a pending sale b/c you showed interest first. LMK If you can get $350 for it, go ahead and sell it. I sent you a PM with a lower offer, but definately sell to the other guy that has $350

You know there are always lessons to be learned in life. I've been a standup citizen on ebay with over 5800 feedbacks, most people on there with a good number of transactions and high percentage of positive feedbacks are good people. But there are the few that will just screw you when the chance comes about. Yes I knew the money order thing was risky. But based on the sellers feedback amount and feedback score, I was that uncomfortable with the transaction. All their transactions were done with money order. But you are correct, if this goes wrong, I will not be doing anymore business with money orders. It's just not worth the hassle. But I'll be damn if this person will just take my money and hear the last of me.....

It's been a week and I haven't heard any replies to my emails. Looked up their info online and called the house number, which is disconnected. The cell phone gets the husband's voice mail constantly....... I'm not going to post their info yet. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe they lost their phone line and don't have access to the internet to reply my emails. But if this muffler doesn't get here in a week or 2, all their info is going to be shared throughout the internet......hell I'm going to create new accounts on ebay just to bid on their stuff and leave them negatives!

I'm done with sending money orders to people on ebay. This person with 355 feedbacks, 97% positive. Sent $200 for a muffler and never heard back from them. I'm about to post all their home address/phone numbers everywhere. This really s*ucks @ss

Yes thieves can find the device and disable it.....but I believe thieves will think a little harder before taking the car with LoJack (possibly) installed. They don't want to get caught while driving away with the car, even before they had a chance to look for the Lojack device. whats probably most relevant is if we are talking about an amateur or a professional car thief regarding lojack/alarms/etc. imo, huge difference. I see your point, but having a potential thief think twice about your truck....versus the truck next to yours.....is all that matters. If the thief wants one, he'll get one. Just don't want to get mine
