  1. It's a 4-bolt tb...I used it on a tbss manifold.
  2. For Sale: LS2 90mm DBW Silver Blade TB. TB works great...I bought this from John {hottelsss} in December of 2013. He purchased it new & I think it only had around 4-5K on it...I put another 1K on it. I'm going another route so it's up for sale! $235. Shipped to the lower 48
  3. I'll try to make it this time! What's the address...3210 Elmira Ave.?
  4. Sweet! Can't wait to see her in person....I'll give you a shout when we plan a trip to Mpls...Finally the temps are warming up?!
  5. Hard to tell with your pic...Looks like a bunk fender...The body shop should fit the fender first, take it off & then paint it. I'd go with OEM body parts next time.
  6. You'll have to modify the oem return style rail mounting tabs a bit...just cut to fit & add some round aluminum spacers.

    Rust

If it was my truck I'd replace the box sides w/oem. For the salt belt {MN, etc...} rust prevention...I've used "Rust Check" products on my 2003 SSS every October since 2004. So far, no rusting from the inside out. www.rustcheck.com
  8. I'm in Duluth, MN 5/2/14 air ride party location!?
  9. I ordered the last Earls Kit from Shawn @ Stillen Performance. He's going to match this old Earls kit with a Goodridge. I'm sure he could cross reference the Goodridge to a Russell kit. I'll post his findings so other members can order the correct one for the 03 SSS's w/the four wheel disc brakes. Thanks, Tim
  10. I wasn't sure which Russell Kit would fit.
  11. Back in 2004-05 I installed the Earls Hyper-firm 5 Line Brake Kit #28A640ERL {now discontinued} listed for the 99-03 Silverado RWD Trucks. For ten years this kit has worked perfectly on my 03 SSS AWD w/2-piston calipers front & rear. Now it's about time to replace the lines...I called Stillen Performance {866-250-5542} & spoke with Shawn ext.#122 to help solve this mystery. I gave him the old Earls part #'s & they just happen to have one of the Earls kits left!! So, Shawn is going to take a look at the kit before shipping it out to me & work on matching the old Earls Kit to a Goodridge Kit.
  12. My 03 SSS has the rear disc brakes...Thanks for the reply!
  13. 04-05 SSS brakes should be the same as the 03 SSS...correct? Russell Performances web site lists kit #672430 for 04-05 SSS's...not the 03 SSS.
  14. Just double checking before I order this from Summit or Streetside. Does the Russell brake line kit #672430 fit the 03 SSS's?
  15. Grant @Torque Rush Performance Inc. sent me this pdf: GM Electronic Throttle Troubleshooting.pdf
  16. My crossover was modified to fit the oem return style rails / tbss intake manifold by a local radiator, a/c auto/truck repair shop. I can't remember if they soldered or welded the fittings.
  17. I may be interested in the drivers side front charcoal grey door panel.
  18. Sold my extra 87mm tb to teamvortec.
  19. In my opinion, order the latest version of x-link thru Torque Rush Performance.
  20. Check out: justchevytrucks.com
  21. I've experienced "Reduced Engine Power" issues/codes with the ls3 gold blade, & the ls2 silver blade throttle bodies. With the 87mm tbss style tb I have never thrown a code. If your interested, I have an extra 87mm dbw {#12580760} w/less than 1K on it for $105. shipped to a business in the lower 48.
  22. In my opinion, it's an inexpensive, good for future mods upgrade you can really feel.
  23. I was also getting rep codes {P0220 TP or APP Sensor 2 Circuit Fault, P2135 TP Sensor 1 - 2 Correlation} after swapping to the tbss intake manifold / ls2 tb on my 03 sss. I checked system grounds, ignition switch / relay, and the starter relay...all checked out OK. So I called Grant @ Torque Rush {x-link} & he recommended exchanging my 3.0 x-link version for the new tweaked 4.5 version for my fussy 03 sss. So far, no codes for a month!
