  1. My wheel bearings

I thought my truck was having the same issue. I changed the fluid etc and the noise was still there. I went ahead and did the fluid exchange on the T case. noise still there. Brought it by my Buddy who works as a GM tech and turns out it was the front wheel bearing. Wheel bearings dont have to have play in them for the bearings to go bad. If you have a mechanics stethoscope you will be able to hear the noise and better pin point if the wheel bearing is the cause.

Same here...started hearing weird noises up front around 100K...the wheel bearings were shot.

  2. I would check out the wiring under the seat. Alot of times it can get caught in the track of the seat, or if it was messed with by a back passengers foot or anything you put on the floor could have grabbed the wiring and caused a short or pulled a wire out. I would first use a test light and make sure you are getting power to that seat. If you are, use the test light to see if the power stops from a short in the wire, you will have to test the total length of the wire to see if the voltage stops at any point. If you notice that, remove the fuse, cut the wire about a inch back from where you last got power, and replace that wire to the plug etc.

After checking the wiring under the seat...I found that power had stopped right before the seat plug/connecter. So I replaced the wire & plug/connector. All is good! Thanks for the help silveradoss.commers!!!!

  3. I'd consider a 4l80e w/the power your going to prod

blowing a bottom end? lol what you cant do that with 10 pounds idk who told you that.

listen a d1sc is fine for these trucks. with a good fuel system and tuning I would say 15 pounds is the danger point. ive had boost going through my motor for over 30k now with 2 different blowers. motor still runs perfect. just beef up your trans and the rest of the truck will be fine.

Agree, but imo I'd consider a 4l80e w/the power your going to produce.

  4. did you actually check the fuses and relays or just assuming?

Manual shows one circuit breaker {CB Seat} for both power seats. This fuse block is located under the steering wheel column. With the fuse in, the drivers side still works & the passenger side doesn't. When I pull it, the drivers side also quits working. Either way the passenger side doesn't work. Am I overlooking a fuse/relay somewhere?

  5. Mine are doing the same thing. The passenger side works. But if the passenger side is on and I try to turn on the driver side, the buttons on the driver side buttons just blink and it turns off the passenger side as well. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Ditto, I still haven't figured out why my drivers side heat seat doesn't work. I've replaced upper & lower elements, all switches, & the memory/heat module. If I repeatedly move the seat forward & backwards 5-10 times & turn on the heat seat ...it will work for about 15-30 seconds. There must be short or a bad ground somewhere.

  6. I have some 06-07 seats for trade in perfect conditions just have front seats, only in California, I need to trade because I have a 03-05 sikverado ss clone and they don't function in my truck power and everything works perfectly , seats are in perfect conditions minor wear from getting on and off truck lemme know please and thanks

I have a dark gray leather right front seat {excellent+} out of a loaded 2005 Silverado. The SSS seats have the SS embroidered/embossed logo on the headrest - this one doesn't. I think that's the only difference between the two.

The seat is heavy, shipping will be expensive.

    $250 + pay-pal fees & shipping.
