nice results for sure.
fyi , its a dynojet they read higher than most load dyno's that would be about 18% less on a mustang and even less on a dyno dynamics.
but 9/10 places have a dynojet and thats why you see the numbers compared.
dynojets are more of a numbers than a tuning dyno so to speak .
sorry for the hijack .
get that thing to a track for best comaprison.
yep i will, slicks should be here today, what numbers are you comparing actually not understanding that statement

Is that 440 at the wheels? Thats better than a stock radix kit. And probably a lot cheaper too.
yes at the wheels, working on figuring out how i can gain more without going carb. i also drive this truck 140 miles a day back inforth to work, ok ok maybe only 2 or 3 times a week lol
-
Very nice, what are your cam specs?
custom grind, 232/238 on a 112 lsa
-
before and after results, 6.0 stock block, with 706 patriot stage 2 heads with vic jr intake, i feel the vic jr was robbing low end torque, new set up is with l92 heads and l92 truck intake, impressive torque you ask me!!
i would have posted this in the time slip forum but dont have a time slip yet lol, slicks will be in today or tomorrow!! hopefully today!! remind you i drove 95 miles for this dyno and tune, the truck was at operating temps, we did go into heatsoak pretty quit, guessing there was about 10 more hp left on the table, if we had a really cooled down motor

Sounds pretty nice! What cam are you running?
232/238 600 + lift 112 +2
Sounds pretty good.thanks
sweetthanks
sounds bad ass doodthanks
the exhaust will also be redone this week sometime, just hadnt decided how i wanna do it, last time at the track it squaded so hard it broke both bands and should one side up into the lower fender well, actually the side i took the vid on, if you look close you can tell that the lower part is bent upwards
-
posted some pics of the power plant, the throttle bracket even though it works well, i have a new style i am making as of now, i personally think the angle is to high on it for the cables...but at lease i did make a DBC TB work lol... thats the lowest it will go, well the lowest i want it, 22" tires is to heavy and 2 big..
we'll be fine tuning it this weekend, well allen will lol.. i'll get some better vids as time permits, i can honestly say with gains or not, the truck does feel alot stronger, but hadnt went over 3k rpms as of yet ;)

just pulled it off my 6.0 since i went l92 setup, if youre interested in the intake shoot me a pm, i'll take 300.00 shipped for it, its powdercoated.. just intake no fuel rails nor injectors, i can throw in a set of new stock ls1 injectors if needed.. the elbow has been sold....
i wouldnt reccomend this on a N/A motor, actually not even 6.0 even though i gained 402 rwhp with my setup using it, i still feel i was robbed some by the intake... now if i went 408 yes i would keep this intake and use it, even N/A...

depends what they are...pm sent.
lol almost lost ya in pms, but figured it out, guess i shouldnt have started the liquid asset sooooo soon today hahahaha

lol thats a good one, guess i'll start drinking early!!! today hahaha
speaking of shares, if you owned several thousand shares in a major oil company and they were worth 500k now would you cash out? or hold off longer?
didnt mean to high jack thread sprayed but your post made me think about what the wife wants to do with her shares ..
-
Got this in an email today......
liquid assets
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you will have $49.00 today.
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in AIG one year ago, you will have $33.00 today.
If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Lehman Brothers one year ago, you will have $0.00 today.
But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you will have received a $214.00.
Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-Keg.
A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon!
Makes you proud to be an American!
lol thats a good one, guess i'll start drinking early!!! today hahaha

I connected it with some fuel line and figured I could tune it out if it gave me any issues.
ok but what did you connect it to? i dont have the evap system and its been tuned out.. dunno i'll look further into it tomorrow .. thanks
-
the evap one?
yes i guess it would be the evap line, lol i dont have the evap system as it has been tuned out, hmm so i guess i could just cap this off?
-
detjoe, that vacuum hose just behind the throttlebody, where it running to?
swaps complete, just doing some fine tuning and checking things out, so far i am impressed with the swap and glad i done it.. sounds really strong, hadnt drove it yet, still have some small issues need resolving...but all in all seems badazz
-
good luck in your find, welcome aboard!!!
-
I ues one from the L92 on the pass side and the LQ9 one on the drivers side.
yeah but i didnt have a l92 valve cover only lq9 covers, anyway probably ready to crank tomorrow got a few more things to put together, radiator, coolant so forth, change out plugs to new ones..
just completed making a cable throttle body bracket, i'll clean it up monday at work. gotta make a couple of fuel rail brackets, then we shall see how she acts on start up, sure a tune will be in force, allen has me one on the way, wheatley will be doing the street tuning sometime at end of week or the following week, depends on how my week goes at work ...
-
you have to grind the ridges out of the normal valve covers. besides that the ywork
thanks quik, yeah i did some measuring, got alittle grinding to do thanks for the reply.
-
was wondering if the l92 heads and 317 heads take the same valve cover?
or do you have to remove the baffles from the 317 valve covers to fit?
search didnt help me out !!!

only thing i could suggest would be to have your cam spected out, just dont throw a cam in there and call it good, you can use mine for refference if you like, but i talked to quite a few cam builders, then went with patrick G for the final spec and purchase. i took his knowledge and compared them to others and found his being what was needed if though others werent off to bad, i just felt PG was right on!!!
