well its better than stock. i was just exaggerating cuz i was a little pissed. if i was sure i would like the sound better if it didnt have an x-pipe id delete it. but i dont want to have it taken off and not be any different. plus id like to keep it on if i could

first off i used to have 1 of the older flowmaster mufflers with 1-in-2-out to turndowns. it sounded alright but i wanted something louder and more aggressive. so i went with true duals to an x-pipe to 2 magnaflow bullets to turndowns after the rear axle. and its soooooo quiet at idle i cant believe it. almost like stock. could this be because there are too many bends in the pipes after the mufflers? or because of the x-pipe? or what idk i was kind of pissed when i picked it up

i guess ill just have a custome one made. my buddy has hook ups with a carbon fiber shop so maybe ill do that

well ive been looking around for a while for a fiberglass cowl hood and havent seen any. not for our trucks anyway. does anyone know of one? or is it not even going to be a big weight diff from a steel hood?

i was going to remove it from my truck but wanted to find a DIY first so i didnt screw anything up. i havent been able to find anything yet so what info/tips do you guys have? thanks

im looking to get an ultra high performance tire that wont screw me over if i get in an accident. last year that happened in the rain and it was "my fault" i slid out in the rain because i didnt have all season tires. so basically what is the best performance tire i can get that insurance wont cry about. i was looking at the toyo proxes st. i actually found a set on craigslist on the cheap but theyre 305/50/20 and i dont know if that will look too big with my drop. although i do want meatier tires than my 265/45/22 ps im getting the new tires for my black ss wheels

im probably going to just gut my cats instead of run hi flows (at least for now) but i dont want to go a f-up my truck. so how do i go about it the right way? thanks
-
hmm i wouldnt think they were melting. i think all that is due to a higher flow rate because of less restriction. but i could be wrong.

anyone else? i know more than a few ppl have done it
