  1. Alright so i got 2 cams that i can decide between. i got the LPE GT2-3 and a Texas-speed cam. Which one do yall think will work best with my setup..Im planning on keeping the Procharger and in the future upgrade with a D1sc or a smaller pulley. This is my daily driver most of the time.

    Specs:

    LPE GT2-3

Please help. ill be doing it sunday

  2. They are made by the same company (Toyo) but i think they design of the nitto gives it my vote. with that design you get good wet tracton and dry traction. best of all you can rotate them wherever you want. versus the toyo II you can only go back and forward unless you want to pay ever time to dismount.

  3. There are a couple vendors on eBay that sell imported aluminum tubing bends cheap; search eBay. Going by memory here but CXRacing??? The best guy I've found for silicone couplers & t-bolt clamps is MK3TUNER. Get a variety of bends and cut them up to make the plumbing you need; you can put everything together with silicone couplers but you will be far better off to take all the pre-fit pieces to a shop that can TIG them all together for you, that way ideally you only have 3 or 4 couplers in the whole system and less chance of coupling/clamp failure IMO. If you do decide to TIG some pieces together your fit-up must be exact.

Please post what your change in coolant, transmission, and intake temps are - we regularly do exactly the opposite, relocating the Radix heat exchangers down to behind the front bumper to drop the temps.

    Mr. P. :)

thank you everyone for all your help. and ill deff let yall know the results

  4. So since im in the process of a cam swap i also decide to redo my tubing on the procharger. Now my question is what material do yall use for the new tubing and were can i get it. Maybe somewhere local. Ive even hear of Home Depot or Lowe's. Ive relocated my intercooler which used to be under my truck. Thought it was a stupid idea. Thanks for any help!

    Pics of the process .....

  5. I relocated my intercooler behind the grill,as did chris(fast4popper) and I just sold my tubing and intercooler to procharged gmc,he just did some pics of it lately and posted them, you have to route the pipe by the headlight buckets which will take a little trimming, and you will need to relocate the tranny cooler, but after that the intercooler fits in there very easily.

so i don't necessary need electric fans?

  6. okay im in the middle of my cam and intake swap but while i have the truck tore down i want to upgrade on the tubing for the procharger. where the intercooler sits at the front of the truck versus the bottom of my truck. i looked but i dont see any space for the intercooler or the tubing to go by. could someone be so kind to take the time and take pictures of it or describe it to me how it was done. i think i need electric fans for this but im not sure. thanks for any help!!!
