I have that set on mine in black with the HID. I've had 'em on for about a year now and they're great. I do get a little condensation in the paking lamps after a hard rain. I've also noticed that the chrome backing around the DRLs is starting to turn white from the constant heat. I hooked up the LEDs to my parking light circuit. I have a set of 5000Ks in mine and they are fantastic. There is an amazing difference between the HIDs and the Silverstars I had in before. I'm thinking about putting HIDs in my fog lamps but I'm worried about lighting up the entire neighborhood. The fogs take a 7159 but a 9005 bulb should fit. However, the 7159 is 40watts and the 9005 is 65 watts. Any thoughts?

If you have a better plan then I am all ears. PM on its way. BTW, what warranty? If you're talking about the 3yr/36K mile deal, I blew through that in the first year I had the truck. I'm still battling to get them to fix the famous thunking sound in my steering column.

Abe's of Maine has the cheapest NIB price I've seen so far. There is also a guy on E-bay that's been listing them new for around $1400 and refurbs for about $1000. There are three different models depending on whether you have a luxury version like a Denali/Escalade, a standard Silverado or a Trailblazer. If you're doing an upgrade to a Silverado (I'm not sure about an SS) then you do need to conect it to your VSS wire. I believe the Delphi unit comes with a splice kit. I asked for one for my birthday. I'll keep you posted.

Just to be on the safe side, I went to the #1 rice burner website to see about the new Frozen Arctic Wasteland. Turns out they actually expect you to pay for one. Here I thought they were going to pay me to drive it. Needless to say the deal's off. I'm sticking with my LS. They could stick a Vega 4-banger in the Vette and I still couldn't go rice.
