Has anyone noticed that in both vids the cars were outside of an auto shop???
Makes you wonder...
The guy in this video had a logo on his shirt too... he may have gotten fired...
-
That's BS... they offer you 5, then put on the lot for 22...

"Coal is just a myth... still wanna' throw that temper-tantrum?"
-
"...is running street tires right now..." = that's called an omen.
We're used to seeing that in heavily reinforced racers, but a streetable car isn't apples to apples when it comes to a crash... he's lucky!

"Why is he taking a picture of me, what is he going to do with that?"
--------------------------------------------------
I wonder where this picture will be on the internet in 5 years?

Not sure of my first topic, but my first post was a reply to the "Clunking Steering Wheel Petition" it was about 8 months old and the first reply to my post was "Holy Old Post Batman!"...
I felt bad cause I was new and didn't know anyone but I laugh at it now...
-
holy.................where do you live? I feel bad saying that it was 70 here today
Atco, NJ
Don't feel badly, my mom flew back to Florida and called to tell me it was 78 degrees... Ugh...
-
yeah i pawned it, i got 5,000 dollars for it because you know "he still has to make money off of it."
na, i've seen the episodes too, but i have no idea who's it is.
He had to call in his 'guy' to see if it was a real SS... Then offer penny shavings on the dollar with that weird smile on his face...

In the pictures I had already cleaned the car and truck off twice. If I hadn't the car would have been covered completely.
-
That's pretty cool... like seeing yourself walking behind a news "on location" report...
Congrats, good eye, I would have never seen that.
-
I'm glad you got back in your truck, but this makes me ponder how safe it is to be posting these things on here, with the number of trucks stolen...
I hear ya', but if they're in the auto theft business we aren't telling them anything... if anything they're laughing at us not being able to get back into our trucks as easily as they could.
-
LOL... same here bud... cost me $140 and an hour of sitting in the stairwell waiting for the locksmith.
Started the truck so it would heat up while walking my dog... just by habit I hit the lock key before I closed the door, AND IT DIDN'T AUTO UNLOCK!!!!
Usually if the truck is running and you hit the lock button while the door is open it locks then unlocks the driver door right away... not this time
Funny to see it happened around the same time.
The locksmith wedged the door, put in a rubber inflatable bag then stuck a bar in to hit the window switch. Took 60 seconds tops...

...Once again, Johnny came to her rescue and stuck her in the butt...
THAT made me laugh out loud!

I speak from experience; it's very tough to lose a close friend suddenly. I'm sorry you're going through it.
If it's any consolation at all...
A funeral is an event for the living, not the passed, and I know he'd understand that you aren't able to make it. Remember him for his life, not an event held after his passing...

gross
I couldn't think of the word to reply with, but she hit the nail on the head...
Nice paint though.

It got me in here...

I watched it, who knew that he has been a Deputy Sheriff down in Jefferson Parish, LA for 20 years? ....And he is a Deputy Chief to boot!
Yeah, how did that go unnoticed in the tabloids and star mags? I see Haidan Paintmyhairy drink soy lattes once a week on covers in the grocery line... but this was never mentioned? I have no faith in the world anymore...
-
I just bought cheapies from Home Depot... they were $20 for a 6' as compared to $119 at Radio-Shack for the MonsterCables 6'...
My feeling is, unless I see a side by side comparison you'll never see the difference. Even if it is better it's not THAT MUCH BETTER.
Cable type and quality does make a difference, but it's proportional. If you were running 23,000 volts your TV with a .09ohm requirement it'd be a different story... Low voltage signal/data cables... I think you'll be alright with a slight deviation from perfect.
-
If you were closer I'd be alllllll over that. (guess I'd need money too though, so maybe it's better I'm not close )
I have an 88 SS I'm restoring and prepping for the strip. Good luck.

I love project cars...
I have an 88 Monte Carlo SS going now.

Freebuson...

Just got one today... I feel bad making fun of him, he was just being polite...
"That's a nice truck man, why did Ford decided to stop making them?"
