shackles are a direct swap very easy to do. right, they are but the reason why i ask is because a few months ago i took my truck to the dealer and they noticed that the plate that holds up the shackle was cracked and all the techs were just trippin out cuz they have never heard or seen such a thing they had to call General Motors to see what to do and gm told them to weld it and hope nothin else happens. have you ever heard such a thing?
