  2. Saw this the other day though i would show you.
  3. i was informed that the measurements are taken from the casing. the manufacurers are given about 3-4% variance on the size up and down to allow for tread wear. that is why the sizes are very close but not exact.
  4. the aspect ratio is as follows. on a 285/55 R20 tire, 285 is the width of the tread in milimetres. 55 means the side wall is 55% of the width of the tread (156.75mm) and the R20 is the diameter of the wheel (20"). hope this helps answer your question. ~mung
  5. the bolt pattern means 6 lugs that are 5.5" apart, centre to centre. the hub ring is the size of the hole in the middle of the wheel.78mm/3.07" the off set means from dead centre. 22mm/0.87" towards the out side of the wheel, is where it is mounted. the 22mm oem hex means it uses a 22mm socket. and the 14mmx1.5 is just the thread type of the bolt. i hope this helps explain everything. ~mung
  6. bolt pattern = 6 x 5.5 +22 offset 14x1.5 thread 78 mm hub ring 22 mm oem hex does that work for you? ~mung
  7. One of my co-workers and i are both having the same kind of wind noise. i havea 03 silverado(base) and he has a 06 sierra nevada edition. he took his into the dealer ship and they told him that "it was with in a reasonable level". He had the dealer ship re-align the door and that fixed it for a little bit but now he has to hammer the door shut. There was a towtruck with the same problem and he has a 03-06 gen silverado and he changed his rear vents and said the noise went away. Could this have something to do with the two little holes at the bottom of the vent windows? ~mung
