Just got the wheels on the truck about five days ago and have just not had time to take pictures and dirty ones at that. The wheels I got are 24x10 Foose speedstur 6's. I like them alot and actually bought them from a guy off here. hahn

24's on stock brakes isn't that bad. My friend and I put his 24s on my truck for spring break and it wasn't horrible. You just had to keep in mind your stopping distance was further than normal.

Yea that sounds likea good plan for the trans what exactly do the servos do i've heard of them but don't know anything. Would a different torque converter help beef anything up or is that the least of my transmission worries? And the exhaust work i just meant like to hook the turbo up, like two welds and maybe some pipe. What would you pay for this used kit?

From what i can tell the kit is complete. It has everthing the kit has on STS's website except for the oil supply adapter. The kit im looking at i believe is from 04 so it might have a different method for recieving its oil or it just might not be in the picture. The kit comes with 48# injectors. And as far as right now i would love to keep it simple and run low boost so i could keep the supporting mods to a minimum. Im thinkin 5 p.s.i. for maybe a 75 or 80hp boost. Would i have to get into the transmission if i ran just 5 p.s.i.? I plann on buying the used kit, i'll probley have some exhaust work done, a tune, a boost gauge, and maybe an air to fuel mixture gauge anything else?

i dunno if this is a dumb question but what is a bov. Where exaclty does the trubo draw its oil from the engine in this kit. I read that it returns to a spot in the vale cover, whys this undesriable? thanks for your help man

Well, think im gonna go ahead and bite the bullet and get a turbo instead of chiping away at bolt ons. The kit im looking at is a used STS turbo kit off of a single cab silverado. So i'd be looking at a tune and an extension for the intercooler tubing. But other than that the kit looks complete for my truck. So any opinions on the STS systems or someone please come school me if im got the wrong idea about this kit. thanks

Yeah I'd be up for that. But like you said "if it were that easy". Is there any car that would have a simple setup to swap like that.

Hey guys i've had this '89 2.8 V6 camaro and the whole engine and tranny is out of the car but ready to be put in. And i know the car doesn't serve much of a purpose but it there and i was wonder what would be a cool project to do on it. I would like to turbo charge it. Soo what would i all need as far as a custom turbo kit for this application. (bigger injectors, oil line plumbing, correct size turbo, etc.) Just wanted to get some opions on how deep of a commiment i would be getting into. Thanks
