HAHA!! A buddy of mine is a MMA fighter and we all got mo-hawks to support his fight. Actually liked the look enough that I kept if for half the year. Was fun getting looks all the time from people who thought I was a junkie or a troubled youth! lol wtf?? My truck should hopefully be finished and ready to go on saturday. My engine is still a big F'ing mess though and like yours there's still some stuff to finish up. Wheel center caps, rear-end, suspension and lots of tuning and problem solving in the engine bay, but hopefully by the time the Carlsbad gtg rolls around it will all be done. End of summer track days look good for me and should have it running good. Don't look at the next part of this post Chase...it might upset you. Dropped the truck off yesterday morning and they said it will be done Friday night! This shop seems to really have their stuff together so I'm hoping for the best. If it does get done on time the only thing I have to do other that detail the truck is swap out the Flowcrapper for a stock muffler.

If you want to drop anything off at my house before we leave you can. Same goes for anyone else that doesn't wanna haul something up PCH with them. I'm not terribly close to the calabasas gtg but maybe about 15 minutes away. Oh and Big D2...I don't know if you ever saw Borat but he was playing off a line in that movie. He's just messin around with the $100 stuff.

Sorry It's taken a while and I've also been out of town for buissness or this would of happened sooner but I finally picked them up and had them installed. TOTALLY changed the look of the truck and I am now super excited about my truck again. Tell me what you think. Poweder coated SSS rim. Front tire with new Wilwood Brakes(Thank you Brain) Back tires, Have a set of Wilwood for those too but need to change my rear-end first. Stupid drum brakes. I have center caps for the rims but have to get them color matched (painted) before putting them on, if I can't get them to match perfectly I'll just powdercoat the lugs and find something to cover the center.

Hey quik, Instead of stroking this out to 408 how big can you go if you were to bore it out? Can you go to 408ci boring out a 6L? I've heard that stroked motors usually need to get rebuilt after 40-50,000 miles or so.

I've seen the tint your refering too but I've seen it on rice rockets and imports. The tint looks really thick and has that "plastic" shine to it and ruins the look IMO. I was looking into it when I wanted my tails done but painting is the best way to go. And like chase said, pay $50 for a used set for insurance.
