  1. This is just ridiculous.. I am suprised and I am not suprised that Arnold passed this. I thought he would stand behind us as he is a rider himself. But either way I don't give two sh**s about this horrible state anyway and thats why I don't have anything registered here except for my car, which that is about to change here soon too. Piss on California and all the tree huggers in it. Goldie
  2. Guess I didn't even have a shot at these even though I was the first to repond let me know if they sell.
  3. Yeah, he is paying my deductible. Since he was drinking no we didn't make a report or anything. I kind of live in the middle of the desert so I went to the most "reputable" place within a 100 miles. So I really hope that it comes out all right. I am NOT going to except it if it is anything but the best. I grew up in a body shop so I am going to fine tooth comb the truck when I go get it. I'm serious I am not taking any tape lines or anything.
  4. So I had my truck parked at the local VFW, and I got a phone call after I had all ready got a ride because I knew that I was too drunk to drive. The phone call started with "man I am sorry but I backed in to your truck." MAN!!! So I look at it the next day of course he hit it with his trailer hitch backing up. The passenger door is toast, also pushed in to the rocker. Just the plastic rocker alone costs over 400 dollars. Took it to the shop yesterday to get it fixed and the quote was 3,800 dollars. Thank GOD for insurance. First time I have ever had to use it but hey, I guess it is good to have sometimes. Anyway, without my baby for over a week, driving a cobalt. Sam
  5. This is not something that I want to do but I think that I have to as Gas prices have finally started really affecting my small wallet. I am trying to see if this is something that is even possible. I am now located at Edwards AFB in SoCal. I still owe money on this truck so I don't really know how that works either if some one could give me some info on that. 2003 Silverado SS 34,500 MI S&B Cold Air BBK Shorty headers Flow Master Exhaust dual outlet Serviced every 2- 2500 mi mobil one there is one dent on the left fender. the back bumber could use some paint. The truck is clean on the inside no excessive wear Plugs are less than 8000 mi Let me know if there is anything else that I could tell you. I can't post pictures today as I am at work right now. I can email pics upon request. The bed is a little beat up as I used it when I needed to but the prior owner used for some sort of work truck cause there are 2 holes in each bed rail that were for a truck box. I have taken great care of this truck and really would hate to get rid of it but my round trip to work went from 8 miles a day to close to 50. Goldie
  6. Do you have the passanger door panel? I also need the little rubber mat that goes in the rear of the center console. And did your outside temp read accurately? If so I would like to get the temp sensor that is in the front grille. Where abouts are you located, maybe can do a pick up. Thank you. Goldie
  7. I still want to see what the red color matched looks like?? Anyone have this? Or is it just best to clear with the red? Should have held out for a black truck!! Goldie
  8. To the people with the trans temp not moving. I only live about 6 miles away from base and my temp gauge never moves to or from work. It takes about 15 min of driving during the colder months for it to start warming up. And no I didn't see when you posted so I am sorry about that. Goldie
  9. Yeah just got it on monday. I guess some other guy on here has pictures of the pages on his post. I don't have that kind of time on the computer. His listing is under GM techincal. I almost thought that he copy and pasted my thread and added the pics.
  10. To all with Instrument cluster problems. My temp went out the other week. Bought a new sending unit. Nothing. Then start reading about this whole cluster issue everyone is having and start thinking about the interceptor gauges. Then Whala the GM Gods must have heard my prayer. In the mail I received yesterday an extended warranty packet regarding instrument clusters on 2003 silverados. It is valid for 7 yrs or up to 70,000 miles. It says any sticking or fluctuation of the gauges. It also had a sheet in there to fill out if you have all ready had this work done on your truck. It is to try and get reimbursed for your expenses. I will be calling the dealership first thing tomorrow. Goldie
  11. To anyone that is in the Fort Walton Beach area, Panhandle of Florida. I have sent an email to a company in Mobile that has an all wheel Dyno and I am trying to find out if they have any expieience with our trucks. I know that they can cut a decent deal if we have a few all wheels for them at once. I need to know if there is anyone intrested in this are though before I pursue it for everyone if not then I will only ask for myself. I am asking for your input before I do the research. This would go for anyone that is willing to meet in Mobile, AL. I will be checking this as often as I can so please let me know!! Thanks to everyone, Goldie
  12. Hey just wondering if anyone else has this problem out there and what they are doing for it. My passenger window/ door lock panel is not secure anymore. The part that is actually broken is on the door panel itself where the body clip from the window panel pushes in to the door panel. I don't know how the hell it broke I have never even taken the door panel off?? Anyway, I tried double bubble once and it really didn't work so I was going to try it again maybe some better epoxy maybe some suggestion?? Thanks!! Back from Iraq, Goldie
  13. I have one these emblems on my truck and I am not a pessimist but I was really disappointed that after I spent 75 or 85 dollars on an emblem that when I got it, it had red tape in the recessed "SS". I mean atleast up the price another 5 dollars and put some paint in there something that dosen't snag when you are drying your truck with a towel and also something that completes the recess not that is almost there. For that price it should be all there not almost there. Just so you know though the quality of the tie itself is unmatched!!! Goldie
