  1. I dont have converters. Lead is the octane booster. With gas getting as shitty as it is now days (now going to 15% ethanol) I would think anything would help. Why spend the money of race fuel when it doesn't have as much lead as they say it does when you can get the additive that boosts octane better than race fuel??

  2. Anyone thought about running lead additive in there SS's? I have some stuff that I get to run in my older performance cars with high compression. It's lead additive & octane boost all in one. When 48oz of it is added to 20 gallons of 93 octane pump gas it can boost octane up to 103. Less can be added for a lower octane gain. I know some guys run race fuel, but I know race fuel is lead traced (not as much lead content as it use to be). My question is this... will the lead harm the fuel injectors? I mean lead was the lubricant for the valves & top end of the engine back in the day. I'm not running catalytic converters so no problem there. Was just wondering about the injectors. What are yalls thoughts about this??

  3. Does anyone know where I can get clear corner reflectors for my headlights & parking lights for my 2006 SS? Anyone doing this. I know some just take the reflectors out. I want to change them to clear like I have found aftermarket lights do. I don't like any of the aftermarket lights. I like my stock lights, I just want clear reflectors. Thanks for any & all help.

  4. Anyone thought about a swap to the new GMPP LSX454 crate engine?? How much would it be to do? I see a L92 Truck Intake or L76 Car Intake would have to be used cause of the LS3 heads. Any thoughts or input about this?? Chase... you've done the LSX block... what is involved? Anything really different about the stock block to the LSX block?

  5. Does anyone know what the rear brake line thread size & pitch is? I'm wanting to do a Russell braided stainless brake line kit. I'm gonna get the kit that is available, but I'm gonna do a line lock on the rear brakes at the flex line. So I need to know what size & pitch the threads are. The one where the hard line comes off the frame to the flex line & the hard lines that go off the block on the flex line. I'm wanting to know all this so I can order the right stuff the first time & not have any down time. Thanks guys.

BTW... It's a 2006 with rear drum brakes in case that matters.

  6. I have all Bosch 02s in my truck, no problems here......let me know if you need part numbers.

Part Numbers would be awesome. Bosch is what I was thinking about going with. I'm having fouling problems with my stock GM O2's. I am planning on deleting the cats in a month or so.

  7. I'm thinking about selling my custom Dynatech header setup so I can go with a different cat delete setup with Stainless Works 3" collector Headers & NoWeed exhaust diverters/cutouts. This setup includes Dynatech Longtube headers with their hi-flow cats, custom made cat pipes for use on a 2wd truck & cutouts with Dougs electric cutouts. No O2 sensor wiring harness extensions are needed. It's a great set up & has never caused any problems. Sounds sick with the dumps open. Pictures tell the rest. I am very particular with the way I build stuff for my truck. Think about the time & money I put into this setup. Asking $800. , way less than what I've got in it, Dougs cutouts were $500. when I bought them. [email protected]
