go with the zippy kit then. and since your messin with the tranny, you minas well throw a converter in there with it. then the truck will feel like a whole new beast. and don't forget to tune it afterwards as well.

-
the wired thing about it is that i kept running rich up to even after he fixed my fuel unless the wideband was bad
-
the mods i have is longtube headers the basic bolt ons and the tuner he is experenced he is very good been tuning my truck for about one year and seen him do others very good tuner..
the only thing i know is he was changing my fuel because i kept running rich up top he was tuning it for about an hour then he redid my fuel and thats when the knock sensors were reading on his laptop while i was guning it dont know that much about things like that but he does he said mess with it again saturday at the track. hope that helps
the brand i have are the arizona speed and marine had them for about 4 weeks i dont think its the header cause when i first put them on he did a retune and everything was fine the only thing diff since then is put flowmaster super44 had magnaflow but i dont think it could be that i have no idea
-
any mods???
hard to say, there is false knock, knock that is caused headers hitting the frame, false knock cause by loud valvetrain...more details please?
how much experence does the tuner have?? There are a lot of details that if you are just learning you could blow a motor, be careful.

So i had the front grill off and saw the smallest trans cooler ever, it's got to go! Ordered up a perma-cool unit w/fan& thermo switch. Trying to save some money in the long run. Will start the install this weekend. Any one else changed theirs on the Vmax?
how much was that and were did u get it
-
dyno tune is the way to go.
where can u get a dyno tune at
-
i dont think it was the headers that picked up the .10 in the 1/8...it was the tune and you need to get more runs to get an average number to compare
well the guy who tunes my truck had to raise the rpm so when it shifts and he added more timing.thats what he told me ??

had my arizona speed and marine longtube headers for about 2 weeks now. did a better diff than the pacesetters. with the pacesetters ran a 9.69 at 1/8 mile and with the arizonas droped to 9.59 with re tune perty good
-
i have 07 classic v-max never ran at the 1/4 mile but i do at the 1/8mile best time was a 9.5
-
Yes.
