  1. Yep, Todd and Wes both work on my shift, and Troy works on B shift. The museum is a cool tour, wish you guys would have done the corvette factory tour....very awesome. Wow......July sucks for racing, weather is too hot for any decent times.
  2. Completely off-topic here, but hey Josh, did your wife tell you about meeting a guy and his wife at the bank Friday morning that owned a TrailBlazer SS? That was me. I was supposed to come up to BG this weekend with you guys, but had to work yesterday. Looks like I didn't miss anything though as the only reason I was coming was to race. Anyways, just wanted to say hey, and hope you guys have a good time today.
  3. lmao....that's great! Are you paid or volunteer? I'm paid. Work for Clarksville Fire and Rescue, Local 3180. Been there going on 13 years this year.
  4. lol....thanks. It's cheesy, and so am I. There's a guy here in Clarksville with a SSS, and he's actually on this board, goes by Silver Arrow SS. I PM'ed him, and invited him to come along if he could. Haven't gotten a response though.
  5. I'm estimating about 10 TBSS guys at the most, if they all show. Probably 4-5 f-body guys also. Come on out, we'll have a good time. I hope to be pulling up to the gates around 11-11:30.
  6. Have you had your truck to the track yet with its current mods? The reason I ask is, I'm just trying to gauge what the TBSS might, or might not have had for you to pull him like that. It's sounding like you raced a stock AWD with maybe an exhaust, which does nothing on these trucks BTW, just changes the sound. Nice kill!
  7. Myself, a handful of other TBSS guys, and a few f-body guys are all getting together at www.alabamainternationaldragway.com on Jan. 20th for some TnT and BS'ing. Just thought I would invite you guys/gals also. Hope some of you can make it.
  8. Well, like I said, just as long as it's any time after Aug 19th, I should be able to attend.
  9. lol.....that video shows nothing but a poor driving/shifting Cobra owner, and you hanging with him the first few hundred feet. You can't tell what happens after that because the camera never zooms in. Your ET would put you pretty close to even with one from a dead stop, but with your MPH, from a roll you would get walked.
  10. It don't matter what kind fo tune you put in an Imp SS or a GP GXP, it will never touch a stock 03-04 Cobra. Even on a stock LS4's best day, it can touch 102 in the 1/4, but an 03-04 Cobra will pull 111-112 all day bone stock. Either the Cobra in the above story never downshifted, or like was already mentioned, the owner couldn't drive to save his life.....it shouldn't have even been close.
  11. Firefighter/EMC for Clarksville Fire and Rescue......pretty self-explanatory. ;)
  12. I live in Clarksville, TN, which is only about an hour and 15 minutes southwest of Bowling Green, but I'm up there all the time. If you guys deicde to have a get together any time besides Aug. 11-12, I'd be up for it, it you wouldn't mind a TBSS tagging along. I can't make it in Aug. because I'll be gone pretty much all month on vacation.
