Has anyone got a tune on there new body style V MAX and what do you think of it. Were did you get it. I know there is alot more power in this truck you can feel it. I want to know dose a custom tune help get that power.

2 pcm's would be great but when no one even hase a core for a nbs 2007 1500 V MAX this is what i have to deal with until that happens. And i cant afford to not drive my truck for a week or two so i can send mine out to be tuned

I have had many different programmers in the past and all the ones I have used have options that you can adjust. Most common ones are: raise speed limiter & raise rev limiter & shift firmness & shift point & tire size & different gear ratios & electric fan speeds. These come with SuperChips, Flashpaq & Diablo Sport & all Hypertech models & Jet Perf., and so we're told / THE ALL NEW EDGE EVO FOR GAS TRUCKS \ What I am asking is does any one have the new EDGE EVO for their GM gas trucks and are you having problems with programing and getting the CUSTOM OPTIONS that they state it comes with? On the web site it said there were about 9 different ADJUSTABLE CUSTOM OPTIONS the unit has to offer and 4 different octane levels but after about 2 months of barely being able to use the EVO because it didnt support my V-max like they said it would. Now they got it to somewhat work on my truck and they are telling me (tire size & gear ratio & speed limiter) are the only options they will ever offer. But if you call them customer service will tell you about all the adjustable options they offer including((( ADJUSTING TORQUE MANAGEMENT))) and about 9 other options. Don't know off hand what the other options were called exactly #1 Tire Size #2 Speed Limiter #3 Gear Ratio #4 Timing #5 WOT Fuel #6 Shift Firmness #7 WOT Shift Points #8 Standard Shift Points #9 Rev Limiter I know custom tunes are the way to go but some of us want the ability to turn them on & off or want to choose a towing tune when needed. If EDGE hears that we are not happy with their choice not to allow us the adjustable options they said it has, then maybe if marketing heres this enough they will give the options back. So if you have input on this please reply to this. I am positive they are watching this topic on this forum. I told them I was posting this, and they said they are going to monitor it. I have a cold air CAI, cat back magnaflow daul exhaust ,ram air,EDGE EVO programer . I get about 16mpg stop and go driving dont know HWmpg dont go on the HW. But when I drive agresive I get 12-13 mpg .

I dont know if I want to lift my 07 nbs V-MAX I have lifted all of my other trucks for now I think I just want to go fast. Maybe when I get bored with it I will. But nice truck you got there good luck with it

huero626 on post # 6 on his signature it said he got a nbs v-max at the end it says vortec 5.3 HO. I thought V-MAX was a 6.0 only in the nbs I could be wrong

I thought the V-MAX was a 6.0L not a 5.3 HO my V-MAX 07 nbs is a 6.0 1500 HD with 367 HP

Keep in touch and let me know when you can do them I will give it a try to see if it is better than my EDGE pro hope so. when your able to do it how much dose it run to have it done and have you seen the 1/4 mile diffrence from stock to your program and what the #'s are.

Im waiting for a update from edge for my nbs 07 they say that you can disable TM system. they offer most of the same things that other hand held programers offer but it is a very nice looking dash mount setup you can ajust it every time you start the truckfor towing performance or 87 octane and it stays connected to the OBDll at all times and you can view 25 diffrent parameters but only 4 at a time. It's updateable over the internet and it dose 1/4 mile times & 0-60 and HP calculatoras well. When I get my new update I will let you know how it workes and if you can turn off TM system.

Well i went to the track no 14.1 more like a 15.2 at 90mph i though the programer might be wrong but i did'nt want it to be well that's better than my first time at the track at a 16.8 with no programer. I was using the diablo sport when iI went a 15.2. Now i want to install the EDGE EVO, waiting for a trans update tune from EDGE then I will try it again. I hope it's in befor friday want to go to the track again with the new EVO, but want trust programer time's again.

I had superchip's in all of my trucks but as times change my last to trucks an03 and 2007 nbs 1500HD V MAX 6.0 not much of a change in power i still have mine if you want it will sell it . The programer just sit's in my tool box running no programer right now have Diablo sport to just sit's there to and i have the EDGE evo dash mount trying to get tech sup for my trans they dont sup my trans yet waiting for a tune from them via, email. But what do you think of the diablo pro, I have got the pro and it seems to be pritte good turned of TM system and whent 14.2 in the 1/4 mile but how do you think the o2 bypas is going to work with no cat's

has anyone tryed any hand held pro. I tried the CS Flashpaq some power nothing to special dont help with TM system i think it makes it worse. Tried diablo sport not much power but can turn off the TM system that in it self is better a little bit better throttle response. They also have the EDGE for the new GM gas truck's but cant adjust to many things . looking for other opinions need input. Dose anyone have some input on programing is custom pro, better or is a hand held pro better.?????? What upgrads will help with throttle response???????
