  1. Nice kill man, sucks you got pulled over by the cop though, at least he didn't give ya a ticket. Had a cocky guy in a Ford revin in front of me one night so I floored it around em and low and behold a cop was sitting there, 72mph in a 45 zone. He commented on how quick my truck was but still gave me the ticket lol. There are two guys around here that have SSs, red one is stock and the black one has a S/C from what I've heard but never actually seen. Got to run the stock one once and pulled about a truck length or two on em. I really wanna run the S/C'ed though just to see how badly I lose. Btw I think I may be the guy you're talking bout that ran the 13.8 with intake/exhaust although it was really 13.9 but whats a tenth? lol Bout to turn 20k on the odo and I gotta say the truck feels quicker now that its broke in more. Kinda excited to see what I run in the quarter now. Waitin for a friend to heal up from knee suregy and then we're gonna run for fun. His crew cab 4x4 5.3 vs my reg cab 5.7 lol
  2. Nice times and congratz on the new addition to the family!
  3. What a tool, only time will tell if he learned his lesson. Something tells me he didn't....
  4. Great kill! I hope to be able to smoke em one day.

    12's N/a

That's damn fast! The only other guy with a hemi I know is slowhemi, last time I saw he was running low 12s. He may be running the funny gas though, can't remember. Anyway, great run man
  6. I always love it when a truck beats up on a sports car!
  7. I used to hear an advertisement on the radio of a detector/jammer that gaurented you would never get a ticket or they would pay the ticket for you. Haven't hard them in a while, maybe that had to pay for too many tickets Anyone one else heard of em?
  8. I think the billet grills really bring out the look of em: Not everyone is gonna like the looks of it, but that with pretty much anything.
  9. I feel like the illegal immigrant that everyone is trying to ship back across the border lol It's to be expected, I'm sure they would get similar treatment if they were to go on competing manufactures forum. It's all good
  10. That 0-100 time was about one month after I went to the track. I'm assuming my ecu finally learned the new exhaust and intake, thus increasing hp and lowering times.
  11. Sounds like you had some fun. Wish stuff like that would happen more often around here.... I think those hemi wagons are mid to low 14s stock.
  12. They only way I can, with a video camera. I record my runs, bring them home and go through it frame by frame. I start counting 1 frame before the speedo starts to move. When I was stock I counted 5.6 seconds for 60mph, another Tundra owner clocked the exact time with his GTech. I know it's not the most scientific way but it's the best I got. Here is the video of that particular run on youtube:
  13. I'll admit, for the time being, I like the looks of the SSS better than my truck. Would have gotten a chevy but just couldn't pass up the performance of the Tundra. Lower it, slap a billet grill on it, window tint, and a nice set of wheels and this truck will pop! Hey haul@ss, those 0-60 and 0-100 times have dropped some. 60mph in 5.272 seconds and 100mph in 13.614 seconds, haven't had a chance to take it to the track since then. Looking forward to it though!
  14. There is an Infinite G35, maybe that's what he meant: Most of these are low 14 second cars.
  15. The fastest 04+ F-150 I could find was this one: http://www.dragtimes.com/Ford-F150-Timeslip-7188.html Ran a 13.913 @ 97.17mph, has the Roush s/c and several other mods. Most trucks on this forum can do better than that with some bolt ons and no s/c. Too much weight and too little engine...
  16. lmao that's a good story. Unfortunately the old folks and women drivers around here are the complete opposite.
  17. It's all in good fun, for example, if I saw one of y'all broke down on the side of the road I would stop and give you a hand
  18. lmao come on now guys, they don't look that bad. I actually like the looks of my truck, only thing I would change is a billet grill and level the suspension out. I payed 25k back in April when no rebates were going on, sport package Sr5. Been having good times ever since then.
  19. Nice kill man, those DC Tundras run 14.5 stock from what I've seen. Now those RC Tundras are a different story
  20. Just got back from the track. Saw Eric down there again but he didn't have his TBSS though. Also saw a silver SSS but didn't get to see it make any runs. Anyways I was finally able to break into the 13s tonite, kind of hyped about that. Hope to see some of y'all next time, later!
  21. Great kill man, always enjoy a good street race.
  22. Hey you never said, did he have the 4.7 or the 5.7 engine? If he had the 5.7 I guess a intake, exhaust, and tune help quite a bit, congratz
  23. Taking my truck to the track again this Friday if anyone wants to come. Wanna see if my exhaust and intake help me get into the 13s n/a. Here's your chance to beat up on a Tundra hope to see y'all there!
  24. Alot of that guys story doesn't add up, like hitting 150mph. The most any of the new Tundras will do is 115mph because of the governer. There currenty aren't any programmers availble to get rid of that either, unless he unplugged the speed sensor from the tranny in which case the speedo wouldn't work. In any case I do believe that a RCSB 5.7 would indeed beat a SSS stock vs stock.
