  11. Here is my upgrade of 305 50 R20 to hopefully help answer any questions somebody may have about doing it in the future. The Tires are Falkens STZ04 they are the some new 305 vs. old 275. They fit great no rubbing and look great too. Sorry for the iphone pics but it is the best camara I have. 275 55 R20 with 37000 miles on them. 305 50 R20 New 0 miles
  12. Is my set-up "safe" to tow my Syclone to Sy/Ty Nationals in Denver, CO from Fresno, CA? I know it is nothing crazy, but I just want to check....? Set-up: K&N, GMPP Exhaust, 160 stat, Zippy tune, Zippy Stealth Shift kit, Vette servo, Tru-cool 40K trans cooler, Trailblazer converter and putting on 305/50R20.
  13. It looks like something you'd try on GTA..... That is crazy!!
  14. It was at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield CA, I think the elevation is around 550 feet. Zippy your telling me.... I couldn't believe it. I think I looked at the time slip 100 times that night. My buddy/camera guy kept saying that the stars aligned for that pass. Detjoe - Your build is the same path I want to take. You don't think you can get into the low-mid 13s with your build?
  15. I went to the truck last night, it was my first time racing on a track. First pass was a learn experience for sure. It was around 100 track temp at about 7pm. I went 14.90, I was very disappointed.... but it was very hot and I was very inexperience on a track. I got a total of 6 passes the last one I got was the last pass for the track at 12am track temp was down to about 70 (thank God). I went 13.90 and 100.86 mph. I couldn't believe it!!! I about fell out of my truck. My buddy got some pictures and videos that I will post them a little later.
  16. Saturday morning I opened my door to find it a little hard to open. Turns out the piece of door cladding had pealed back in the summer heat and hit the door jam as I opened it. Great!! Paint and Plastic damaged on both pieces. Here is the question. Has this happened to any other SS owners out there?
  17. Zippy's kit are the best way to go. I feel they have the best light driving habits and great hard driving, other kits only do one type of driving. It is the best shift kit you can buy hands down.
  18. http://www.larouchepub.com/other/2009/3622..._hitler_t4.html where does it end.....
  19. The 04's still had a option for a 6 disc in dash changer. No XM or Onstar=No disc changer. ask me how I know but no wholes on the roof of my truck.....
  20. It lower the operating temps. Lower trans temp a little. The main thing with the lower operation temps is the chance for detonation less and you can run a little more timing in your tune.
  21. Sorry, just go to Gmpartsdirect.com and enter the part number I have listed. It is still there.
  22. Gm Parts Direct is having a sale on the GMPP Stainless Steal Cat-back kit for our trucks. The Part# is 17800765, This kit doesn't include a tip but.... you cant beat the price. Ask Fireman31 about the kit, I have it also, it is a great kit. Install was super easy and fits great. It is a little mellow on the sound, but if you want it loader, ask Fireman31 he has the part number for a Magnaflow muffler replacement to liven it up a bit.
  23. So. To use this intake on a stock N/A truck, their are a lot of extra parts needed to make it work, or it does not work at all?
