I'd say 60k-80K is the average lifespan. Just make sure you replace it with a Delco part.
Why does it have to a Delco part? Why would it hurt to put a Warbo 255 Lr/hr pump in?

The best way, Sell your 2WD and buy a SS or Z71. If not,it is going to be very expensive and timely to find all the parts you are going to need.

Sorry to hear that man, It hurts to see it. A few weeks ago I was drive home, and somebody throw two eggs at me. I did not see them, but your should see the paint damage $500 to repaint the bed panel, and no punishment for them. It was 2:30 in the morning and the local cops told me they had better things to do...... Nice Right.

Same thing on mine, I heard for the first time this last weekend on a trip to the coast. I was thinking it was the bushings were starting to go.....
I did the steering shaft fix how three weeks ago.

Ok, I have been looking through these forums for any information about shift kits and Transmission upgrades all together.
Transmissions are not my thing and I need all the help I can get so I don't want to ask a dumb question.
I have a warranty on my truck for another 45000 miles and like to keep it for the most part. I was looking for any info on the Stealth kit from Zippy, it sounds like what I am looking for, but does he sale them anymore?
I was planning on upgrading the Trans cooler and was hope to find a "Bolt in" upgrade cooler? What is the stock Fitting size of the Trans cooler?
Also Corvette Servos but the warranty again and I do still tow my other truck sometimes and my 6000 boat up to the lake.
So I guess I saying is, what is the best way to get a good performance trans feel without losing the overall truck that this truck is, and keeping the warranty in tack?

Well I did it, pulled the trigger and bought the GMPP kit. It only set me back about 473 bucks with my discount. It only took me a hour and half to get the stock stuff out and out the new one in. All in the driveway with some WD40, Floor jack, hand tools, and some beer. Nice nice kit. Thanks for the help picking it out.

What do you do if you have a warranty? Keep the stock PCM, or can the Dealership not tell the PCM as been changed?

Did you feel that you lost some power with GMPP kit? How far does the kit go with buying the tip kit?
And Honestly what was the better buy, Seat of the Pants feeling, Exhaust or Tune or both?

Very Nice kill. Rare? I see a Syclone every day. Some of those are fast. I have a friend in your area has a truck that I would to like see you race, he is a Syclone though. There is a black Challengers for sale here for 65K too. Them are Bad A$$ Some deal only old man or large check books can sit in it.

Thank guys, It feels like a shoe box when driving it after driving the SSS. I picked up the Syclone it 05, I wanted SSS but could not afford it so I found something I could. few years later I have both, and the Payments to prove it.
I tried to make to the Socal SSS meet, but I ended up having to work all day, so the next one, I hope.
