  1. bake them in the oven at 225°-250° for 15-20 minutes to soften up the glue...plue them apart paint the parts you want to paint then get you some appoxy and seal them back together

when you say paint the parts you wan2 paint, what parts should only be painted, so that the light output will not be affected.....and also this can de done to the bumpers right? cause i hate that AMBER reflector :banghead:

  2. I would keep your stock ones or buy some clear ones. If you black out the whole headlight then very little to no light will be projected in front of you, and you will not be able to see at night lol. You have a 99 right?

yea i have a 99 and the attatchment up on top are the ones that i bought on ebay i hate how i see at night with them, thats why i put the stock ones back on

  3. about 3 months ago i purchased some black housings for my truck, i got them off Ebay for like 136, they look great! but the one problem is that when i would turn on my HID's (6k too :D ) the beam would look somewhat projected like when you turn on a flashlight. that at night took away a lot frm my headlights....when i had my stock ones they would shine all over the road so i put my stock ones on yesterday at night cause i got my pilot 880 fog light kit yEA!!!! they look sooo sik!! just have to brake them in.. the question that i have is, has anyone blacked out their stock housings, cause the ebay ones feel all cheap and like if they were made out of low quality plastik.....if anyone has blacked out their housings could u tell me how to do it or could you do it for me if i shipped them out to you?? thanks -cheo

..............there are the black ones that i got off ebay........

  5. Yeah rob you should go to whittier tint shop, their good thats where i got my tint done. i paid 160 for limo on all my windows including the strip of limo on the windshield. I dont think thats too much for limo and the strip is it?

$160 sounds ok to me, i wouldnt really know because i have not yet tinted my windows, where in whittier is the shop at? and if it comes wit life time warranty its all gravy :D .... also like another dude on here told me about mikes tint in riverside i wonder what his prices are cause gas B high and dont really feel like driving to East los :nonod: ..but ima shop around and see whats up...anything with life time warranty is

  6. :withstupid: , but in cali it's completely ILLEGAL to have any tint on ur front windows and yes two cops have told me this when they pulled me over so trust me i know. oh and about the strip on the windshield i yes get it aswell, i dont have it now but im gonna go back and get that done soon...

so how dark are you going to go?? and what shop you going to

  7. i have the amber DRL's on my 99 5.3 but for some reason when i got my black headlights and the black bumper lights, they do not seem as bright as before, would this be because i need new bulbs or is it due to the housings, and if i do get new bulbs, will that help? thanks-Cheo

  8. i mean its real clear to look through from the inside out day or night, most tint is blurry (hazy) and not very visible from the inside out

o i see what you mean. dam thats some good ass tint then, ima go there i think, what levels of tint do they habe there and whats the darkest you can go without getting in trouble, but yeet u dont want ppl to see you when they loook at you

  9. you get what you pay for. 99% of the time the tint they use is dye (which over time fades to purple) black and the better tints are colored using metal (metalized tint) and does not fade purple. but thats just my opinion

when you say really clear wat do u mean? like clear to see thru in the day or wat?

  10. as far as HID's go with the PILOT brand  i got thoes on my truk 6k!! yEA!!!!!! ima get my fogs done too, but i dont kno what to buy first, my HID kit of my rear LED tail light kit in blak, cause i have my headlights in black so i dont know, any suggestions???....but yea PILOT is the way to go ive had mine for like 2 yrs i think
