  1. I put way too much $$$ in mine to sell her. I have no plans on ever letting it go. I have customized my truck to my liking and if something should blow up (cough, cough, motor, cough) I will take it to the next level. I bought it because it suits me for everything I wanted in a vehicle (just a little low on power).
  2. Nice. I want to do that sooooo bad but I know that as soon as I do, it'll blow up. Beautiful!
  3. My old competition car 172dB. With earphones on and holding them tight with your hands, it was difficult to breath playing a strait 60 Hz tone. Most everyday systems in cars these days are around 140 and WILL do damage to your hearing in time. I have slight hearing loss from either this or my hunting/shooting hobby. Be smart, that is all I can say.
  4. Mine was part of the Level V 65E from FLT. It isn't that hard to install yourself though. Although, if you can do it when the tranny is still in the truck,...you are good.
  5. The Radix is self contained, no oil lines need to be run. I swapped my Radix gear lube at like 5K due to an "issue" and when I did, the oil was black. The stuff I put in was a nice amber. I think Magnacharger suggests a 80-100K service (rebuild).
  6. Weight savings is under 200#'s (bumper, hitch and spare). I also feel that there is a parachute effect with the roll pan typical of what is found with the fox bodied Mustangs (87-93) in the GT trim. It has been proven time and again with the GT's that taking off the plastic on the back is good for .2 in the quarter depending on how fast the car is (more MPH the car goes, the more drastic the gains). Many have dirlled holes in the bumper to minimize this effect. If you go under your truck and look at where the airflow will collect with no spare tire and the BSER roll pan, you will see what I mean. I will be taking mine off at my next track run and see if this is the case. Anyway, it looks much nicer than the stock bumper IMO.
  7. I will be doing the SVO's soon and let ya know. I caved in and said I am satisified with how my truck is running now so the little extra headroom the SVO's will provide will be enough for me. I am running 100% IDC with meth using the 42#ers but I also have the 03 return style fueling which gives a boost to the injectors as it is. I scale my flow rate of my injectors in my tune because of this (others may not agree) as I see higher flow rates as the FP increases (63-64#s max). Some may just list 50#s and pull fuel in the adders and such but this is how I do it and it works for me.
  8. ...No real value to my post...just wanted to say AWESOME.
  9. I have had a pair of black M frame oakleys for like 6 years now. They cost like $140 but if you break that down per year, it was a bargain. I always hit the dollar store on the Atlantic City boardwalk when I am there and pick up a knock off pair as well.
  10. kevin, i don't remember the name of the case, its just a generic case i got at a local sporting goods store. i'll look at it tonight to see if it has the brand name on it somwhere. Thanks boss. Just curious. Funny how I have a $900 piece and keep it in a $10 case. Anyway, that laser sight you have on there is pricy. In your opinion, was it worth it? I like the fact that it is hidden . The wow factor of the laser is awesome on a Saturday morning at the range. The place I go is mostly dads and their kids,...when a laser is pointed, all the shooting stops for like 5 rounds.
  11. Haven't lost yet ;) There is a a group of about 6-8 that go to a local drag strip by me and talk all kinds of crap. I like to sneek in line and run them. They swear that they would get me on the street, I have offered and no one has stepped up With a CAI, full exhaust and slicks, one (regular cab) gives me a challenge. He cut a best of 12.7. This is at a crappy track so take another .2 off that time and that is his ideal time at sea level with a (-) DA. He seems to shift well too.
  12. Hey SSAlaska,... Do you have more info on those "Gold Dots"? I mean from a personal experience perspective (not internet search stuff). I have been using the Hydra Shoks and they seem to be a nasty round. I also got several boxes of cheapies for the range. How long have you had the 220? Mine is fairly new and I was just seeing how the longevity was,...most seem to never have a problem. Holty, What case do you have? I still use the blue box the 220 originally came in
  13. Its awesome. I would love to have a salt water tank but just can't keep up with the maintenance. I always wanted a big anemone and a couple of clowns
  14. Good price, great truck. Might have to suck it up and swallow your pride if you want the good deal. When I was buying our minivan, I worked up the figures with the sales rep and they were reasonable. I went with the "Paperwork guy" and when he said just sign here, I quickly added up all of the figures and it was $1900.00 over what the salesman and I agreed to The scumbag switched a 60month payment to a 72 and kept the monthly payment exactly the same so I will not notice. He even went as far as making the terms sheet folded behind the monthly payment sheet. Needless to say, my wife and I were so disgusted, we walked out. On my way out, I told my story to a guy looking at a DuraMax in front of a salesman. Wether it was professional on my part or not I was really upset at that one. What dealer in NE PA?
  15. I like! So when are you going to organize a PA SSS meet and handgun shoot?

    F**K

"Chase's R&D for the rest of us". Keep us posted on what exactly happened. I was going to post in another thread that good rod bolts may be some cheap insurance,...like what dounome did. I am glad you are looking to the future! Most will pack it in and say thats enough. Best of luck with the new build. OH, BTW, I would like to see a stock HEMI take 12 psi and the ropes you put your lq9 through. GM did something right with the LSx motors...
  17. You scared me,...seriously! I would always work with whoever gets the item and doesn't like it for some reason. Hit the frame with some polish and it should shine awesome.
  18. I did my stockers a while back. It was deffinately different. Here is the thread: Black powdercoated I liked the low maintenance of them. A quick wipe with the sponge and they were spotless. BTW, I used Krylon Fusion black paint for the centercaps. ;)
  19. Chase, You running Caltracs yet? Considering them? I am doing the rear girdle this winter (time for a fluid change) as well. I think you are at the point now where the weak link is a toss up between the 65E and the rear Good luck! With a little cool weather, good track prep, 100 shot and solid tuning, 10's are not out of the question...well, at least for one run ;)
  20. What injectors are you running? Your absolutely sure that the injectors are not just real noisy? I know on my Typhoon, I almost didn't buy it because the 50#rs sounded terrible,...even with the hood closed! I have since swapped them out for the stockers and they are still noisy but deffinately less. You can do the wooden dowel scope trick (Mr. P can help) and pinpoint the noise.

    Beware of the EVO 9

Well stated. I ran one at the track and it was a bad sight but did impress the driver when a AWD full sized truck kept up with him. ;) He ran an 11.8 I ran a 12.3 (my MPH was faster). He had a laptop, tons of chrome piping under the hood and exhaust. Don't know the specifics. IMO, they are still garbage. Anything can be "crazy fast" when it is the weight of an 8 year olds go cart. I don't want to be in one of those things when a semi slams into you on a highway
