  1. I understand the labor/paint charges and I thought they were reasonable. I just thought $541.67 for a rear bumper cover(part only) was a bit much but I could be wrong. The labor and paint for everything was about $380. Note* I just reread my first post and I mistated my question. The overall price seemed high due to the bumper cover price. I was wondering whether that was a decent price on the bumper cover part. My mistake.... sorry for the confusion....guess I need more than 3 hrs sleep to function properly and thanks for the quick replies guys - Matt
  2. Mahomet ... it's just outside Champaign/Urbana
  3. Ok, I went to a local Body shop for an estimate on some minor repairs. The passenger side rear door body cladding is coming loose(imagine that) and so is the strip on the tailgate. Also my rear bumper cover needs replacing due to a crack on the bottom side. The body shop said they could take the body cladding off and clean them and re-tape them, while the bumper cover needs to be replaced and painted. Estimated price----$980 .... is it just me or does this seem a bit steep? I have not had a chance to get other quotes from other shops yet, but it would be helpful if I had an idea of how much this normally costs beforehand. At this pricing(I believe the rear bumper cover alone was $540) I will probably just get a BSER rollpan.... can/does BSER install these? Any Info would be appreciated -Matt
  4. 02 simulators replace the rear 02 sensors (post cat). They send a false signal to keep your computer from throwing a SES light. Heres a link to some for a Camaro http://www.ls1speed.com/cont.cfm?cid=C0000042 I've never looked for ones for the truck but they are probably quite similar. Another thing to think about is if you buy 02 simulators you will need to plug/fill-in/weld the old 02 sensor holes or I guess you could just leave the old sensor in place, but they won't be plugged in anymore.
  5. Welcome to the site Your in the right place for good info -Matt
  6. Work was slow, so I decided to pull my truck in and check it out on a lift. I had noticed that the truck rode rather poorly, so I checked out the suspension and loe and behold the previous owner lowered it by adjusting the keys . The Front bumpstops are smashed and slightly bulging/pushing outward towards the tire. I also noticed that the outer Tie-rod ends are higher than the inner tierods I was always under the impression that they were supposed to be fairly even/level. Well , I guess what I'm asking is does anyone have the right specs as far as ride height or maybe even the right measuring points to correct this? I would do a search but like I said I'm at work and don't have a lot of time to read thru everything. Any Info would be appreciated
  7. These are out of a camaro that Wheel 2 wheel powertrain built. Tehy do some incredible things there Thought they might give you some ideas
  8. Midnight club 3 had several trucks {sss, srt-10,escalades,denalis,H1, H2, and H3's)but it's an arcade racer. While GT4 and Forza are more simulation racing games. still it was fun customizing them and racing thru the streets
  9. His first 200 yd game was against the Bears 19 carries for 240?? yds and 3 tds. Now I know the Bears suck this year but their defense is still pretty stout. Hopefully he stays healthy, I'm not a Vikings fan but I've enjoyed watching him.
  10. Looks Good Makes me want to do mine Which means spending more money It really is an addiction
  11. Are you wanting OEM or replicas? If your looking for OEM wheels I'd try Ebay or the For Sale Forum here. If your looking for replicas heres a link to a place with decent prices for 20 and 22's , you may be able to find a better price, I was never in the market for replicas so I had not done many searches for them. But it can give you an idea of how much. http://www.hubcap-tire-wheel.com/chevy-silverado-ss-c.html I bought a set of Oem chrome 20s on Ebay a couple of weeks ago. I got 5 (full size spare )wheels and Goodyear tires with roughly 400 miles on them for $1500
  12. If I was you I'd send a pm to Zippy , He knows quite a lot about these transmissions and he also sells everything. At the very least he can point you in the right direction for what your wanting. Heres a link to his website http://zippyperformance.com/index.html
  13. It's kind of hard to say really. Will they go undefeated during the regular season? Probably, As long as they stay healthy considering their remaining schedule consists of Bills, Eagles, Ravens, Steelers, Jets, Dolphins, Giants. I believe the only real challenge left is the Steelers for the regular season. But once they get to the playoffs anything can happen. Then again Tom Brady could break his arm next week. Just my .02 On another note Did anyone see the Chargers-Vikings game.... Adrian Peterson 30 carries 296 yds 3 td... first rookie to rush for 200 yds twice in rookie season. The 296 is also a single game record, breaking Jamal lewis's record. Kid makes it look easy
  14. Good job man ...wish mine was that fast
  15. 14279 and 14289 That should cover what most people with Silverado SS's are looking for. Unless you can get just mufflers w/o pipes, then those prices may be helpful. Thanks Once Again Tbyrne for the great service
  16. Looks Damn Good Did you do the Amber Delete? I'm not sure I have the patience to do it, but after looking at yours and kellyperformance .....It's definetly a must have Also your tail lights and 3rd brake light was done by Jons tinted tails, correct? What darkness did you go with and how well does the light shine thru at night? Any pics by chance? Very nice ride -Matt
