  1. I'm going to apologize now...My manager tricked me into looking at these. (I don't know where he found this nor do I wanna know) Now its your turn
  2. 4..8..15..16..23..42 "the numbers are cursed" -Hurley "But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth." Umberto Eco
  3. Nice looking truck and Welcome to the site
  4. Good info guys Like I said in the first post, I was just checking prices on some CAI and ran into that filter. Didn't know what it was so I thought I would ask. After looking at the dyno comparisons of the different CAI it does seem that for the money the Outlaw is the best. I also like the fact that they designed them on our trucks The best prices I've seen so far on the Outlaw CAI is $250, now would that be with the dry filter or do I have to order that seperate? If I do, roughly how much is the dry filter? I should probably just call Outlaw or Tbyrne sometime this week when I get a chance but if anyone can give me a heads up on pricing I would greatly appreciate it. Once again thanks for the info guys -Matt
  5. Bser custom makes them. Your best bet is to send him PM. He usually prefers making several at a time so you may need to find a couple of people also interested. Hope that helps -Matt
  6. Is there any way that the Admin/ Moderators can send out a forum wide PM or even email to all members reminding them that they need to vote? Then again I know absolutely nothing about how a forum is organized/operated so I might not know what I'm asking them to do(major PITA), but it's the only way I would know how to get everyones attention. Personally, I've been searching through old posts for the past week or so and completely spaced the voting until I saw this post when I clicked on the View New Posts button today. (I just voted ) Also, with the influx of new members (myself included) Alot of us don't know much about the Featured Truck Contest(how often it takes place, when to vote, etc). Lastly, I had no problems loading up the topic at home or at work. It loaded and resized in a matter of maybe 30-40 seconds. just my .02
  7. My vote is in.... All 3 are absolutely beautiful trucks guys.
  8. This is by far the best forum I've ever been a part of
  9. Welcome to the site and your in the right place for info on these trucks
  10. I've been in the market for a CAI. While checking prices I ran into this. http://www.performancecenter.com/product.p...lverado+Ss/6.0L I've been searchin thru the forum the past 3-4 days and have yet to see them mentioned, or maybe I've just been using the wrong search words . Anyways, I was curious if anyone has used it and if its worth the extra $$$. I've found a volant kit for about $260 w/o the powercore filter and this ones roughly $300 w/ the filter. Any input would be appreciated -Matt
  11. I have some vacation time still available we round everyone up and find those mtherfkers j/k Whats the world coming to...Hell just the other day a crazy homeless guy came runnin into the shop with a chainsaw ..."You guys wanna buy this ...50 bucks" we told him to fuk off. He then ran to the shop next door and they told him the same thing. Not 10 min later a guy from the cemetary next door came over wondering if we had seen anyone with a chainsaw, theirs had just been stolen. Thats just fcked up, twice in two months. I'm sorry you have to go through this again. -Matt
  12. If you are replacing the 02 sensors, then yes I would apply heat around the 02 bung. Also the 02 sensor socket helps quite abit. If you are NOT replacing the 02 sensors be very careful while heating. Make sure you only heat around the base of the 02 sensor bung(not the sensor, the threader portion of pipe). Direct heat can fry the wires going into it or you could possibly damage the ceramic interior which is inside the metal shielding. But then again it depends on how you are heating it. I use an Oxy/acetylene torch which will melt metal quite quickly if not careful. A butane torch probably won't get quite as hot, but regardless be careful. Also you can get an 02 sensor socket about anywhere, Napa, autozone, advanced auto, sears, etc. OR You could just use an 7/8 line wrench which actually might work better than the socket. -Matt

  16. Welcome to the site 03blueSSom22s 22s look damn good on these trucks Have you lowered it any yet? Also If your looking for some LT headers check out the group purchase Tbyrne put together for us. It's a really good price on dynatech headers. Its in the preferred vendors forum, first topic. I can also pm you the price if you want because Tbyrne(or any of us for that matter) is not allowed to post prices due to being way way lower than normal.
