Ahhh I won! Only stipulation is the court wants to see that I have a full time job within 60 days so that I can prove my income that's all

Tyler,
First off, you will be ok. It's small claims. Secondly, it's only a hearing, which means you and the plaintiff (and that's it) will be stating their claim and defense if front of the judge. You won't be in front of him very long. The fact that the both of you settled, so to speak, is in your advantage. But that doesn't mean he can't try to introduce new evidence, (we call this Parol Evidence) that will bar the written contract.
Hearings are a mere formality, the judge is going to decide if the plaintiff has a valid claim upon which relief can be granted AS A MATTER OF LAW...This means the judge is going to take into consideration what the plaintiff says, and then evaluate with the appropriate State Law, if his claim states a valid question (about the specific law) which will allow the plaintiffs case to proceed.
Numbers are in your favor, the majority of things get dismissed, and if they don't, you can assert defenses.
Just like the other guys said, dress nice and tell the truth.
Ahhh good advice! I'm off to get dressed, will report back when I return!

Hey I've got a question, what do I call the "Frivolous Action" or "Vexatious Action" what do I ask for for a form for this. I've searched and can't come up with anything.
-
No no no, don't throw that into the mix, your FD carrer has nothing to do with the case....suit and tie IMO.
That's what I'm going with, def.

You got that right Mr. P I hate to take time off of work for something I'm making right on. Total waste of time! Thanks for the input I love the SS guys standing behind me<----wait that didn't sound right but I'm posting anyways lol.

That pretty much sums it up. Be honest, because most of those judges can, and will, bust you in a lie. That can also work to your advantage, as it sounds like this dude is trying to get something for nothing. Most don't like it when people tie up the court system with frivilous BS lawsuits.
Thanks so much for the advice, that really helped me out a lot!

Hey Guys,
I am kind of slow right now with my full time job, and looking to try and make ends meet. I have a private spot in Plaistow NH, right over the border of Haverhill MA, that I do Auto Detailing. Anyone who has seen my pictures of my truck or seen it in person knows I am extremely talented at what I do. Just seeing if fellow SS members wanted anything done as this weekend is suppose to be nice, and I need to make some capital. All I ask is that you leave it for the day to ensure proper drying of the carpet shampoo etc.
Interior Detail:
Complete Vacuum/Air Line under/between seats
Carpets Shampooed & De-Odorized
Dash/Trim/Door Panels/Vents etc. Cleaned and Shined
All Glass Cleaned w/Rain-X application to Exterior
Headliner Cleaned/Vacuumed
Leather Cleaned & Conditioned
Exterior Detail:
Complete hand Wash & Dry
Wheels Cleaned/Wheelwells
Clay Bar all Paint Surfaces
Mirror-Glaze High Speed Buff/Swirl/Spiderwebbing Removed
Finish With Hand Wax For Protection
Wheelwells and Tires Dressed
Coat Wheels with WheelWax
Door Jambs Cleaned & Waxed
Exterior Glass Cleaned-Rain-X Application
Toothbrush all Emblems/Cracks/Crevices
For SS members, I'll do complete in/out for 125.00!!

Typically if you and the other party agreed and signed an agreement, it should stick. Just like a contract. I'd point out the fact how many times the other party has tried to change the agreement, where's it gonna end? Good luck Oh and keep up on the insurance next time...
Thanks for the tip...and I now have insurance lol

Good Luck, everyone knows SS members always pull through! Don't worry it at all, my father had the same thing and it was gone for good the first time through treatment!

Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone here has been to small claims court? I was notified of a hearing this upcoming Tuesday. As some of you know, I lost my liscense due to an uninsured auto accident in the fall. We needed to reach a written and signed agreement between me and the other party in order for me to get re-instated, which we did. Now the other party doesn't "like" the agreement we agreed upon, and wants to take me to court to try and get out of my agreement and make a new one of his own. This is now his 2nd attempt, as his first attempt was overruled and approved and signed by the judge because I sent in the agreement that we had. Now he wrote to the court saying he was upset that the court approved our agreement. So now he has his own "addendum" and wants me to enter into "his". I'm kinda nervous as I've never been to court at all. Has anyone been? I mean hell I'm only 21 I'm not a criminal. I'm an honest hardworking guy who also helps day in day out with the Fire Department as well. For lack of a better word this guy is really "white trash". Any suggestions and input would be great, as I don't have the capital for a lawyer. Thanks SS members.

Prepaid Fedex is fine. Yes it is all four lights, and the colormatching I used to do, but won't right now. just clearing.
Well I have a beater for a daily but no cash until payday. Can you take prepaid fed ex return shipping labels?
If so I can just print them at my work and include it all in the package at once.
And just to be clear... lol no pun intended...
This mod removes the amber reflectors from both the headlight and turn signal housing, correct?
I saw mention of color matching? What does that look like? Color matched to the GM paint code?
I'd be interested in a pic if you have one available of both the clear and color matched setup.
It sounds like you could have already made your money back on the exchange program, but I would be leary that someone sends in a core that has a scratch in the housing lens and then you have to eat it.
