  1. kind of depends on what caused to to be salvaged and what the extent of the damage was and how it was repaired i have seen salvage titled vehicles go for close the kbb as long as it was repaired correctly and there was no evidence of it being in a wreck
  2. bungs are in the correct location you only have to use the one directly after the cat the one further down stream is for a wideband setup. From what i remember from my install i had to twist that part just a little to get the clearence need for the o2 sensor and you shjould have gotten an allen head plug in the bag with your gaskets to seal the EGR off. any questions feel free to ask. Also make sure you have plenty of clearence inbetween yous driverside collector and the front driveshaft yoke mine rubbed at first and i had to heat up my header adn push it in a bit to get the proper clearence.
  3. That site has some pretty funny ones i like the butt dyno and the lowering kit!!
  4. if you score and X in the face of the rivets with a cut off wheel or 4" grinder then use and air chisel to knock the head of the rivets off works great had all of my rivets off in less than 20 minutes. the rest is prettymuch straight forward remove and replace good luck if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask
  5. welcome to the site!!! Pic's yet??

Not sure if this has been posted yet but i know some like me have always wanted to see a Duramax SS well i was just surfing e-bay and came accross one check it out looks pretty good except the front bumper and the added druamax under the SS logo on the headrests, but i understand why he did it that way. 14. jeff it looks like it is a straight bolt on piece. and it appears to mount facing the rear of the truck and bolts to a rear crossmember. I found an article on truckin's website where they installed one here is the link: DJM Suspension install
  15. kind of wierd becasue him and Steve-O were on minute to min it this weekend and he was talking about his new show and movie coming out. He will be missed
  16. chase is correct i used beltech when i had mine. But like he said make sure they are stem and loop design not stem and fork. I ran into a problem with this and had to call beltech to get the correct ones
  17. had the exat samething happen to me last summer with field mice they used the firewall pad to make a nest in between the heads and the intake manifold.
  18. I just went through a claim with USAA not to long ago, they gave me my estimate of close to $3300 took it to a dealership i wanted to i just had to pay the deductable if I would have taken to there body shop i would not have had to pay the deductable. Once the body shop got into the truck they found and additional 1500 worth of damage they covered it no problem they replaced everything with factory parts did not have any issues other than the body shop took forever and put the wrong grille on it intially. I guess you just got a horrible adjuster iw ould do like stated above get your own estimate and then go from there.
  19. he should be stripped of his SS and given a GEO metro or a smart car just for driving that way!! LOSER!!!
  20. wow read the other posts and threads these are two different trucks one is a SS with a 427 and the other is a Clone project that has or will have a 6.0 in it. on a side not i agree i say no soley becasue there is not enough cowl for me
  21. I have seen that truck on my trips to meps and back I stopped and looked at it about a month ago it was parked at the meijer's right off of cedar street. back then it was just red with stripes and the 22's looked pretty good then now it looks like crap!!! Poor SS
  22. easiest way is to check the vin the 8th or 9th character should be an "N" if no N then no SS. Also jdging by the color you have listed in your info as being Summit White they never made an SS in Summit white so you either bought a V-MAX or a custom painted SS which i have seen a few
  23. I am a Navy Recruiter in michigan, there is no real way to compute your ASVAB score from the practice tests the easiest thing to do is just to go take it. Judging by your percentile scores listed above you should do fine. There are only 4 socres that actually comupte your ASVAB score and those are Word Knowledge (WK), Arithmatic Reasoning (AR), Paragraph Comprehension (PC) and Math Knowledge. Judging by your scores the one that need the most attention would be the Math Knowledge. If you have any question along the way feel free to PM me. Just go into the office and tell them you are interested in the navy they will put you on a practice test that will actually tell you how you will do on the real ASVAB.
