1994 ford ranger 4 banger 5 speed 2WD beat the crap out of it every chance i got then traded it for a 2000 chevy s10 that i still have.

now is it a waste of money to get the billet 1st and 2nd servo instead of the corvette servo? and has anybody used pro-flo servos from jet performance? both the 1st and 2nd and the 4th are billet and you can get both for around $150.

Mr.P do you know if this kit comes with servos or are they sold sperately? also is the pcm reprogram something that needs to be done right after the shift kit is installed or can i still drive my truck without the reprogram? also with this truck being my daily driver should i keep a certain percent of the toqure management?

I have been doing some research and i think my first mod for my truck will be a shift kit and servo's i have some questions about the Transgo 4L60E-HD2 reprogramming kit is it an actual shift kit or does it just reporgram the pcm? If it is a kit does it come with servos and all the other springs and what not? And after i install the shift kit and servos will i need to get my pcm tuned? if so any recommendation on tuners i am looking to do future mods so i don't want to have to pay to much to get my pcm re-tuned after every mod.

yeah i have and i am not looking to spend that much money on a upgrade that does not add HP i was just looking at slotted and dimpled rotors because my front ones need to be changed.

How do you change the EQ on the factory bose 6 disc radio? When i press the EQ button i only get Talk or Custom are there more or is that it?

so how much do those servos run from transgo, zippy ect. and do i need to spend the money on the 4th gear servo?

I am looking to do a few upgrades to my sss I am in need of new rotors and pads so i was going to purchase EBC slotted and dimpled and their green stuff pads. Well a friend talk me into looking at shift servos. so now i am think just replace the rotors and pads with stock replacements and buy the servos? Are pro flow servos by jet any good i am kind of new to tranny upgrades so i am lookin for some advice on good quality brand that is not to expensive. also any suggestions for shift kits?

I have a couple of questions about installing my automatic transmission in my 2000 chevy S10. I had a friend take it out for me while i was on deployment and i had my tranny rebuilt. i am getting ready to put it back in and i was reading my haynes manual it says to index the torque converter and the drive plate so it can be installed in the same place. well since i have a new torque converter i dont have that index mark how should i line it up? Also how much tranny fluid should i put into the torque converter? my manual does not specify

Well i have a 03 SSS with 71K on the clock. so i just missed the extended warranty. I called the dealership and tried to see if they would help since i just bought the truck and i found out about this problem on here instead of getting a letter. They said no. They told me it would cost $450 for everything.Mine is strating to show signs of the problems in the letter, my speedo is sticky and jumpy and i don't think my tranny temp gauge is working at all ( i drove from maine to michigan and the needle never left 100) My question is how much is a new gauge cluster and does it have to be programmed or can i install it myself.

well this is the first i have heard about this problem since i am a newer member. Well i just bought my truck a month ago and it had 68000 on it well i drove the truck home for the holidays and now it has 71K on it just got off he phone with the dearship and its gunna cost me $450 to replace it . Does anybody know how much just the custer is and if i buy just the cluster do i have to get it programmed or is it just a straight install?

I wish i would have known about this about a week ago my cluster has been sticking and sometimes the needles do not move unfortunatley my truck just rolled over 70K well i will take it to the dealer and see if they will honor it anyways.

Lately when I go out to start my truck in the morning the speaker right above the drivers seat starts buzzing. I don't know if it is becasue it is so cold outside or what but as soon as the temp in the truck warms up the buzzing goes away. Any one have any ideas what would be causing this?

They are painted. no they are not missing I was just wondering if there was suppose to be something behind them to direct the air to the brakes. But I guess I just misunderstood what they were.

I recently purchased a 03 SS and I have noticed that mine does not have the full engine cover. It only has the top piece I was wondering if there is a part number for the other two pieces. Also are there suppose to be brake ducts on the gray squares on the air dam? If so is there a part number for those. thank you

Hello my name is Justin I recently became the proud owner of an 03 ariival blue met. SS that my wife bought for me for a suprise when i came off of my recent deployment. It has 67,000 miles on it and the only upgrade that i have put on it is true dual magnaflow exhaust with double tips exiting right in front of the rear passenger tire. After the first of the year I hope to add an intake (any recommendations) a tune of some sort and a stero upgrade. I also will be doing some cosmetic upgrades.
