How Would My Black Truck Look With A Flat Black Hockey Stripe?
kckid1695 replied to YenkoChevelle69's topic in General SS
Someone had a yenko style one for sale on ebay. But the decal went from the back to the middle of the door and didn't look good to me. Now if it went all the way to the front it would look good. -

My recon I have had on the truck for a year now. It is bright and no problems with it. Most cheap ones will geat mouisture in them but I have not had that.

Get some pics during the day of the lights.

Put the lights in the oven at 150% for thirty to fourtyfive minutes to cook the mouisture out. Then put sealant around it and even where the lights go thru because the o-rings aren't sealing up the light and I bet that is where the water is getting in at. That's what I have done to mine and haven't had problems with them in a year.

You can get it off of ebay. I have one that I got for $45 shipped. Just like this one made by bully. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-05-CHEVY...sspagenameZWDVW

I will take the pillar pod if you still have it.

Optima's are crap. But hey that is just my opinion. I have gone thru ten in the past year all under warrenty. I replace with a diehard and havn't had any trouble. Also had the same trouble in my mustang.
