    i just ordered a smaller pulley (2.8 for radix). before i put it on and get tuned i want to delete my cats. my tuner says it will give me a little more power

    and i understand i won't pass smog, thats fine, i got that taken care of...my questions are

     

    1. will it make the truck much louder ( its already sounds good how it is)

    2. if the factory bung is put back in will there be any other issues or problems

    3. will i shoot flames out the tailpipes LOL ( i hope so ) :fart:

     

    If anyone has taken there's out i would greatly appreciate some input. I understand i wont get much power out of it but its something and i'm trying to get every little bit i can. thanks

    thanks everyone. i just ordered a jacket from summit its hot pink with bright yellow flowers on it. its hot. LOL. and a matching bell helmet too..looks great. seriously i just bought some stuff online hopefully it will be here by thursday for irwindale. :rollin:

    Im looking for a store that sells race helmets and jackets somewhere in Orange County or close to orange county. I can't find anything on the internet.

    Thanks for your help... :banghead: I bought a helmet at the swap meet but last time i went to race they gave me shit at the check in because it wasn't snell approved.....

    i got my new verter in the truck and will be doing some test n tuning next week in irwindale, a couple of us are going just throwing this out there . racing starts at 4 pm until 10 pm , i will be there around 5 or so and hope to get a decent amount of runs, i need to get it ready for the drags on 11/2 at ca speedway.

     

    some of yall should come out , weather should be decent and ive heard there is quiet a bit of truck competition.

     

    I will make it for sure. I like to get there early too, probably be there by 4:30 to sign in. my wife is going to bring her SRT8 jeep too. See you there.949-929-2811.. :cheers:

    hey Greg just saw all of ur mods on ur sig and it sounds lik u have a mean truck. got any pics of it i'd really lik to see it specially ur front brake setup, make a thread in the video and photography forum of ur truck.

    ok yes your fuel afr will need tunning i dont see how your making a true 7psi with a 3.1 im running a 2.8 and only seeing 7.5 psi with no meth it does fine but i need meth Get a stage 2 snow performance meth kit pn(20010) and install it yourself also you will need tunning for the meth ebay has the se kits onsale for 385 right now

     

     

    go to my gallery. i scanned in my dyno charts. with a 3.1 pulley im making over 7 lbs of boost at 5000 rpm. thats how i know im making a "true" 7 lbs of boost. thanks for the info about ebay. as for installing the meth kit is it really that easy. have you put one in before....

    alky control sells a nice kit , the controller is very nice and adjustable.

     

    make sure you do both at the same time and then re tune. id honestly wait on the meth kit though , for what it costs the gain is somewhat small, its for people trying to sqeeze every last hp out of there motor,

     

    i will be going to the tnt in irwindale in about two weeks to get my truck dialed in.

    yes for sure. if you get an alky control kit and need some help let me know i can probably help ya out.

     

     

    where did you buy your kit at. lets install that shit. i live in santa ana. i would love to see that bad ass truck of yours. wanna race lol. im going to irwindale tomorrow TNT 1\8 mile. gonna race my wife. she just got an srt8 jeep cherokee. thanks again bro...

    id go with a 2.9 with so cal heat. and for the meth it may help you get a couple degrees of timing . if you have any mechanical skill you can install it. the alky control kit i installed was cake.

    I have a radix with a 3.1 pulley making 7 pounds of boost. If I put a 2.8 pulley is it going to be safe for the engine (LQ9).there is an intercooler. will i need another dyno tune. Is it going to make too much heat. How much boost will I be at with a 2.8 pulley. does anyone know somewhere in socal to get a methanol kit installed,cost andhow does meth work. does it only kick in at WOT. . . HELP PLEASE
