The Throwdown was on Saturday, I only made it through the first event and I busted the bracket on the brand new supercharger that holds on the idler pulley. We ended up leaving after everyone took there 1/4 mile runs. I got a couple clips of my truck running the slalom and a couple of Chase running the 1/4 mile. Congrats to Chase for taking 1st place in the street class.
Pretty dissapointing but there is always next year. I am sure Chase will have a bunch of pics and vids sometime this week.

IMHO, if you are keeping the radix, keep the cubes small. Otherwise the radix will be a major chocking point in your build and will gain very little from big cubes. OR, go big cubes and sell the radix and rethink your HP approach. If you still want a maggie start looking for one of its bigger brothers
I agree with this. I had a radix on my 408 for a long time with a 2.7 pulley and would only see 4-5 lbs of boost. If your going to keep that blower you should do a 370. If you have plans of a bigger blower or a turbo later I would do the 408 and put the radix on for now.

sounds great man. almost makes me wanna ditch the procharger and pick up a 2300....almost

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago with a diablo predator. The guy that tunes my truck loaded a race tune in the diablo so he didnt have to flash my PCM when I went to the track. It did the same thing. They said it fried the starter circuit in the PCM. I never used the thing again.Umm...black bear, wheatley, zippy, a few others. All are between 200-400$ and give free updates for life of vehicle. That's void on some if you go forced induction. Hope this answers your question but it is plastered all over the forum. ;)
Do you have an aftermarket alarm or remote start?
You should get a tune from someone in your area or PM zippy about a mail order tune

Well its finally in and she really hauls ass now. I bought a jackshaft TVS 2300 with cog drive, Rays phenolic spacer, TPIS 102 mm throttle body, ATI 10 rib pulley setup, id1000 96 lb injectors and a new fuel system.
Wanted to say thanks again to Ray (supersub) for all the help and the 50 phone calls to make this thing happen. If anyone is looking to buy one of these Ray can definetly be trusted. Great guy.
I just got the truck back a couple days ago and this truck has totally drained me and given me some grey hair. Here is a couple pics and a short idle clip. i will have some better ones by the end of the month.

So would 650 hp get you around 11.4?10.9 for an SSS...I am estimating around 750 to the wheels in race trim. Obviously weight /gearing (wheel size) / HP and TQ curve is a big player.

I bought a new TVS 2300 from ray with his inlet and spacer. This turned into quite a project and Ray was very helpful helping me get this thing done.
For anyone that is going to buy one of these blowers Ray is definetly a good choice. I sent him a cashiers check for a lot of money and he came through with his end of the deal.

i just bought those id1000 injectors, my tuner is all about them but kinda expensive. Congrats on the new pb that is haulin ass.next time i go to the track 10's will be had as long as the stock block holds together for the next mod. working on getting bigger injectors right now since my 80# injectors are tapped out at 102% so looking for id1000 or bigger so i can pulley down to get to my next goal of 10.9's or better. stay tuned !
What dyno numbers does it take to get that timeslip?

I went through this same debate in with myself for a while. I love the way a turbo sounds and thought that was what I was gonna do but I decided to go with a jackshaft TVS 2300. Ray just shipped me one with his inlet and spacer and its getting installed right now. I love magnacharger and I haven't had any issues with it for years. TVS and 408 should get you pretty low 11's
I vote TVS but its your truck man good luck
Btw Im pretty sure 750 rwhp will get you a 10.99 in perfect conditions, no wheel slip. There are some other threads on here about this
