  1. I have just installed the Cooper Zeon LTZ on the stock Chrome 20's in the stock size. I couldn't be happier. I had the Goodyears and the Yokahama Spec X's and these tires are by far better in every catogy. Ride is better in all weather including rain and snow. Thank God for that. Also almost no noise at all. no one can believe how quite they are. Only negative is that with all that tread I have lost about .5 MPG but who cares. I love to drive my truck again!!! I'll try to get pics for you but I am not sure if the 20's are close to the 24's for look.

    X2

I'm running 285/50/20 on stock rims. They are the only tires I will buy now. On my 2nd set.

  2. I have the same problem on my truck. I have the PCM4less harness. and each year right in the middle of summer in AZ (108*) one of the relays melts. I did the same thing, bought one relay from O'reilly auto parts and another for a spare. They have a lifetime warrantee on their relays. I've used the warranty twice now.

  3. Everyone ive ever seen ended badly

Oh I'm sure you have. I've been cut and coupling and crimping every type hose assembly you can think of. I've done it all. And not all work out for the best. I agree he should double flare, its the best seal going other than a back up flare sleeve behind the flare. They do it in all threads like JIC, SAE, JIS, JIS/BSPP, ORB, ORF ETC ETC. I can name about 16 more threads. I've designed alot of fluid power systems.

  4. The thread nut is 7/16"x24 pitch and it is .36" long appro 3/8". I sold hose and fittings for 16 years. looks like the hose is 8.963 OAL (overall length). Where do you live? I could tell you a shop you could take it to that would have the part and the ability to do this for you. Or you can go to BrakeQuip.com and find a shop near you.

Just reread that. You should be able to get the nut from any automotive store or hot rod shop. Single flare should be fine. Be very carefull flaring. its not very easy with hand held tools.

  5. I'm diffently not taking it back to them. I'm going to take my time and do it my self so I know its done right. My wifes cousin is a auto painter so i'm going to see if I can enlist some help from him to. First off is I'm going to take off the front bumper cover and see whats all missing as far as tabs and plastic rivets etc and get those on order. of course this will happen when the temps start to go down a little here. LOL 105 out and 120 in the garage. Thanks to everyone one for the support on my venting lol.

  6. This is pissing me off. First the roof starts to peel off. Now I noticed the the front grille and the bumper is starting to peel. Thats probably because the company the repaired it after my wreck sucked ass. I'm still out of a job so now I am really determained to get what ever job I can so I can start working on this my self. I have the garage and a compressor so I'm going to do this as soon as I can. I can't believe my beautiful truck is starting to look like crap. Pisses me off. Sorry just had to vent.

  7. Contact the GMPARTSDIRECT on this forum. They can tell you. As long as its not humid and it isn't open for anylonger than a hour or two you should be ok. Make sure to blow out any debris before installing new parts.
