So i posted this in frustration. I went to best buy and got some assistance from one of the guys there. We just "finessed" it off to the side so the radio would go into place. So its installed but i did unravelled the electrical and bc of the way everything is spliced together it didn't give me any extra room to play with it.

There is a cable that is splice on both of the connectors that is making it not have enough room to stretch and be able to reroute them. I will proably just splice in some more wire and make it longer. If I could post pics it would make sense why I can't reroute it

Ok so I have been trying to figure out how to install this but I have a problem bc the small connector on the isimple adapter that plugs on the radio will not reach around that metal bar in the back. I would post pictures but my iPhone takes too good of pictures. If anyone know what I'm talking about please let me know bc I am about to loose it on this adapter!!!!

Yeah it just sounds kinda suspicious! I know lots of people dont ever even change there fluid at all! Does anyone know if GM even has a recommended fluid for the trans? I used Lucas in the front and rear and i dont know if they even have a ATF fluid but then again I haven't even checked, but if they dont have any ill just go with that AMSOIL

Ok so i was going to do my fluid change in my tranny and like 3 different people told me to drain all my old fluid and reuse it. This is a new one for me. Any thoughts on this? They said the friction from the fluid is whats keeping everything working right and new fluid would make it wear

So i had a fun idea the other day and i was wondering if anyone out there knows if the 08 - up seats bolt up with our bolts or is it different

yeah they were so worn that they pretty much disentigrated

Yeah I am going to school in Wyoming for a year and might do some cross country exploring before I go back to Texas to go to school but wouldn't mind having that extra power hauling my stuff.... I know on the way up here I was getting around 9ish-10ish with the trailor and bike in the back

In the far future i am thinking about making the SS into a weekend monster/DD but i have some questions that I have been thinking about and wondering if i can get some insight. How much gas milage do you get with a Maggie? Whats the reliability with a Maggie? (I have drove across america like 5 times. Will that still be an option?) What are some of the things i should look into getting? TBSS intake? Injectors? Cam? Maintenance and upkeep? Anything else i am missing or i should be looking into please let me know. Times are tough so i am going to start donating blood so i can get some power..... What you guys think 1 pint of blood = 1 HP?

Yeah i got an appointment on saturday for them to re-install it. Hopefully everything goes great again! Is installing the alarm on our trucks really that difficult or is this just a freak accident!

Ok so i took my truck to a sister company in Fort Collins, Colorado and they took a look at it and they said the install is so shady looking and poorly done they want to just take everything out and just reinstall it.

Yeah I don't really have a choice but to just tip toe around on the 24s. I know this being in Wyoming buissness is completely different than texas! I am Kinda plan on getting them re powder coated also in the new future so I guess they can take a little punishment and I won't die or anything

Ok how bad is road salt for rims. i Have 24s and will be using them for the winter in Wyoming. Is this the worst mistake of my life. My rims are powder coated also. Thanks guys!

I got them to disconnect the remote start but leave everything so it would go back to normal. Like i told the dude when he did that the code went away and the truck drove normal. i wish i had more time to get it right but i have to drive to Wyoming on Saturday so ill have to just wait until i get there to figure it out.
