I dropped the truck off with them again and told them what you said in the earlier message and what I found online. So we will see. If they can't fix it will it hurt my truck to drive 1600ish miles with that code?

P0740 is the code I am now getting on the truck is it just a complete coincidence this all happened at the same time or do you still think it's this tach wire you speak of

Ok so I bought a viper 5706 and FLCAN and had it installed at Audio Express the preferred installer in The Woodlands, Texas. Well I had the car alarm installed and went to pick up my truck when they closed at 7 and when I got in my truck my check engine light was on and when I drive it it feels really sluggish when I take off like its in 2nd gear almost. Also when I shift from reverse to drive the truck shifts really really hard. I am going to take it back tomorrow and have them fix it or take it out. Any one out there have any ideas what happened. Thanks guys

Blast from the past!!!! So i finally got the terra grapplers and alot of people like them. I also finally got some much need curb rash protection a little too late but still im extremely happy!!!

I like the earlier look also i bought a Ram Air HD hood and HD grill and put them on my truck. I personally didnt like it. Then i took a poll with my friends and family and took it off within 12 hours lol. Now it just sits in the garage.

I was kayaking and i dropped mine in the ocean (no one was around for a long time to bring me a key). Another time i was in Austin and just locked my keys in the truck and i decided there has got to be a better way to do things than break into my truck every time i am locked out. Not lucky enough to have a wife yet so that kinda out of the picture.

I am moving to Wyoming for about a year or so starting the 20th and i own a motorcycle. I was thinking about taking it with me. I dont know anything about storing a bike in a snowy environment (dont have that much in Texas). Would i need to store it inside a building during the winter or is it ok to just leave it outside and use it as a base for a snowman. This snow thing will kinda be new to me so any info helps.

I bought mine at 30,000 and have done nothing with the tranny since its never had any problems and from what i have read i know i wont flush it just drain it.

Ok so i change my oil regularly along with plugs and wires and everything but what are the recommendations on a a trans drain or the fluid in the differential? I have heard from people around me say that if you dont have any problems or leaks with the trans dont ever mess with it. I know that sounds really iffy but i couldn't find any solid milages for the different kinds of services. My truck is creeping up on 90,000 miles and i feel like it is time to at least get new tranny fluid or something bc i know i have never changed it or added anything to it! If you could help a brother out or at least point me in the right direction that would be awesome!!!!

I bought this hood in 2010 and put it on my truck along with the grill and completely did not like it so i took it off and left it in my parents storage building. Here we are in 2014 and the old people need a place to play Bridge and drink highballs. So if anyone is interested in doing a complete conversion then this is you lucky day!!! $600 for the hood obo $150 for the grill obo and some engine covers if anyone is interested
