I recently had the C3 in the tranny shop to have the fluid and filter changed in it because it had a little water in the fluid. I noticed when they drained the transfer case the fluid was a dark nasty blue looking color and I thought that was kinda odd. They told me the transfer case used regular transmission fluid but I am unsure. If it uses a different kind of fluid will the transmission fluid hurt the transfer case? Thanks is advance. Carl

I agree, he is going with torque thrusts or something. He still hasnt made up his mind yet, he wanted to get it painted first then do the wheels and tires. I did hear him say something about the new camaro 20s too, so who knows. Thanks for all the compliments guys, this is the first satin black paint job I ever did so I am happy it came out like it did.

How much for the cladding?

I think he is gonna go with some black torque thrusts.

I finally figured it out. As it turns out the dealer programmed the wrong bcm to the truck. So after replacing all the injectors the cab wiring harness, checking the frame haness and engine harness several times, wearing out a starter, and hauling the dang thing back to the dealer for the second time. After I dropped it off they called me and told me the pcm was fried and would cost almost $500.00 to buy a new one and have it programmed to the truck. I had an extra one and took it to them, the tech said if this dont fix it I dont know what will. So he programmed it to the truck and still the same thing. I asked him about the bcm again and if the part #s would interchange and he told me he didnt know. Luckily I kept the original and found an extra with the same part #, took it to them and it finally started....Thanks guys for all the help.

If you part it out, I would be interested in both front doors, both fender pieces and both rockers...

Ok, I tried the relearn, replaced the cab harness, and it still starts and shuts back off...I dont know anyone with tuning software so I wouldnt know how to get the vats turned off. Do you guys have any more suggestions?
