I got to see this truck in person in your dads garage about 6months ago,, I thought it was pretty cool then. I bought that 06 Intimidator off your Dad,,I took all the remaining Earnhardt stuff off so it just looks like a normal SS now,,,other than the little accident I had a few weeks ago,,I'm looking for a passenger side rear door at a decent price if you or your Dad run across one,,so did ya use an SS rearend under that thing?

That figures,,I just bought that exact piece at a local dealer! That just happened to be the only piece of cladding I needed,, d**m I shoulda waited,I used a bodyshop discount and still paid $210.00.

I'm looking for a Passenger side rear (extended cab) door at a good price,,need it shipped to 63845, MO. nothing at local junk yards ,,mine is fixable but really don't wanna use bondo.

I agree,,I traded my 06 hood & grill for the 05 look,,just felt that hood was best left on the Duramax

The (B) could be something from the Hypertech programmer,,eitherway I think I found all the codes on a GM truck forum,,,but thanx a million for taking the time to help out,,

I installed power seats from an 05 into my 06 & got a "service airbag" message on the dash,,turns out a couple wires were in a differant slot on the passenger seat plug,,the guy I bought the truck from switched them around for me,,just took him a second to do it,,just not sure which wires he switched around,, I think he compared the plug on the passenger seat, to the passenger side plug from the truck,,seems like it was a yellow wire he moved around. and since the 03's had the airbag keyswitch in the dash,,I bet you'll have a similar issue,,as for the power seats,,just a 12volt & ground wire.

just tinkering with my programmer, ( I know,get a real tune ) anyways Hypertech shows 6 new dtc codes,,,, I know one of them was something about my xm radio,,don't use it anyway,,but I have no Idea about the rest,,truck runs fine and no sign of trouble,,anyone know what these codes mean??? 06 ss B2600, B2961, B1259, B1825, B2435, B2440 Nevermind guys,,I did some searching on a gm truck forum and got some answers,,nothing major,,XM radio Ground,,,Daytime runiing lights fuse pulled,,& some heated seat sensors,,,My seats came from an 05 since orignal seats were stolen,(before I bought it) But,,nothing serious.

well when I said it got "broken" I meant the housing itself was broke,,,blinker works fine,,thanbks for the tip though

I broke my mirror off at the point where it turns, it's power, heated, with turn signal,,everything still works fine. I ordered one just like it, painted black with power & heated,,(no turn signal) is there a way to take the guts from my old one and put in new case? I've been told you can't remove & replace glass in the ones with the turn signal? Just wandering?

I'm looking for an oem Passenger Door mirror,,Mine has the turn signal, power adjust, and the clear light underneath,,it's for a black 06 SS,,,I will consider any mirror with the turn signal & the area for the painted cap,,doesn't have to be power or black. and as for my other posts about the other parts I needed,,Grill, SS Bumper Cover,,and Cladding,,,,,picked up Grill, Bumper Cover, and a fender today,,have cladding for front passenger bedside ordered,,but could cancel if someone on here has one.,,,,,,Thanks Les.

I'm talking about the steel bumper under the SS cover,,,is it just a regular 03 to 06 Silverado Bumper??? have to replace mine and don't wanna buy the wrong one,,,to me it looks like thats all it is minus the uper & lower pads.

The Cladding on my front right (passenger) side of my bed is damaged,,it has a small tear, a crease, and it folded back an rubed the tire while driving,,left an indention about half the size of an egg,,any advise on fixing? what to use? or anyone got one for sale?

went and played on the levee with the 4wheelers and had a dumb idea to drive up the levee sideways, started spinning, lost control,,rolled right into the tree line, It smashed bumber cover, grill, fender, and pass side parking light,,looking to buy a (bumper cover) & (grill) in black,,,I have a $750 deductible so I'm not gonna turn it in,, My SS is and 06, but I swaped the 06 hood and grill for the older style when I first got it, I just didn't like the new taller hood, anyways I need the SS BUMPER COVER & GRILL for an 03 to 05,,,BLACK

Has it got a possi rear end? If not I'd put my money on the SS, I ran a regular cab hemi with a few more horses than my stock 2wd SS,, I spanked his ass everytime from a dead stop, HARD!!! like 4 to 6 lengths every time weve ran,,but when we went from a 40mph punch, I barley get him 3 ,,so the SS rearend really helps outta the hole. Don't forget to turn of that Traction control and really heat those tires up.

Oh I see,,no mods really, other than a cold air intake and Hypertech programmer,,I agree he should have blown by me way sooner than he did,,unless he's still getting used to driving it since he's only had it a week or so?
