  1. Yea mine would cut on by itself and I wouldn't realize till it was cooking my butt and for the longest time I though I was just hitting it when rolling the windows down but then kept hearing the relay click and looked down and it was cutting on and off numerous times so I used the search button and sure enough led me to the elements where I found they were fried right where the wiring goes into the element itself. Real simple fix, I got my elements from work and wired them in and hasn't done it since.
  2. My guess is the heater element itself in the seat is burned and causing the short. If u search heated seats there's pics and a lot of guys here whom have had this issue and that was the culprit. I had the same issue and pulled my covers off and sure enough burned elements. Good luck fellas
  3. I like the coil packs off the covers, makes the wheels turn in my head. Just listened to the initial start up and couldn't imagine how it sounds doing a thirty punch. Great job brother
  4. Wow looks great brother, looks like your slowly but surely coming to the dark side! Lol
  5. Not sure if u made a typo when saying you had them hood in series but they should be hooked in parallel to obtain 12 volts and the alternator to charge both batteries, if hooked in series then you should have 24 volts an a fried electrical system. I'm hoping typo.
  6. Yall are makin me miss home with all this talk, now I'm in Atlanta "compromising" with the wife. Originally from Rockwall, seen 635 about a year back and was amazed that it's a double decker now lol.
  7. Don't know how to upload photos especially without the wife's help but Rose Marie Doughty was brought into this world today at 6:37pm et weighing in at 8lb 4oz and 51cm! Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there and boy howdy did we make a beautiful young lady! Just changed my first diaper lol
  8. Funny u said that, told the wife I'm taking it off until pictures cause she's gonna break my fingers trying to push this big girl out of her lol. Btw didn't mean to take the focus off of u brother on your daughters birthday weekend and this is my last comment on this post. Hope u have a great family there to help yall out and take care of some of the cooking and chores. Def in my prayers and bless that baby!
  9. Awesome brother, congrats on her being healthy. My wife goes in tomorrow to get her membranes scraped so hopefully I'll be having my daughter this weekend as well. She's gonna try and do it natrually so hope that all goes as planned. Any tips for me in the delivery room would be much appreciated! Lol
  10. If my trailer hadn't come off the ball and bopped mine you would have yourself a deal sir.
  11. Glad your seeing some progress and have goals now that you have to work toward. My boss is in the film restrepo and that man has been through it all over seas and has came along way since he got out of the military. He helps me in ways deal with the things I've seen and done overseas so it's def good u have somewhat of a support group to lean on. The main thing I have found is communicating with people that have been in similar situations and are or have been helped cause civilians don't get it and think it's just "drama". Good luck brother and know things will get better with time.
  12. Glad to see I ain't the only grease monkey into nitro trucks, all the boys at the shop give me hell about spending a grand on my truck lol. Your build is def amazing brother.
  13. That drone is kick ase, thanks for postin def some good footage and looked like a heck of a time.
  14. Always enjoy sharing these with the wife. Gotta kick out of it, thanks.
  15. The hubs on these trucks are not made to hold the bearings in without the axles in place and with enough pressure will push them out that's why ur wheels are cambered in. You would have to put 2wd hubs in it in order to drive without the axles. As to why ur brakes fell out I'm sure it was just a chain effect of the hub moving the rotor out of whack and pushing the pad out of the notches. Just my 2 cents. Btw the axles they sell at autozone and advanced if I remember correctly don't flex and will pull the axle out of the retaining clips and dump ur fluid so before u buy them make sure they move in and out around an inch or so. Good luck brother
  16. Done brother, sorry to hear that BS. I pray God gives yall a your old man a fair shake.
  17. Yea they plug right into the harness, make sure u disconnect the battery and let it set for a few minutes before disconnecting or reconnecting. Static electricity has set these guys off before and I have had a halon fire suppression system go off in my face from it so I'm paranoid about it now lol
  18. Thumbing through craigslist and come across this. Forgot who's truck it was 2BFAST maybe but know it's still my screen saver on the laptop and hate to see it passed around. http://tallahassee.craigslist.org/cto/4992944481.html
  19. Bro that's a badass tattoo! love the detail and the flame. Wish I could rock one myself but don't invest enough into the truck to justify goin all out like yourself. Love the truck as well brother.
  20. Its really simple if ur mechanically inclined at all. The chain is around 75 and fluid and a new gasket that's it. I have seen a post on here that basically walks you through the whole process but make sure that's your noise before tearing into it. Took me around two hours to pull and replace mine but I've done it multiple times so I would recommend sitting aside a full day for this. If u need any info aside from what's on here let me know brother.
