Bought mine with 41,000 eight years ago and now at 153,xxx. Now she sits at the house and is no longer my daily. Sadly it took me that long to finally get a daily but I have enjoyed every mile.

Def was the trans seal, also found a pin hole in the transfer so jb welded it up and ordered the case saver and a new chain. Gonna go up to the chevy house and pick up a couple of courts of fluid and a few other parts so hopefully this is the last time for a while I have this thing out. Thanks again for the tip man.

I mean in the steering column, I had a ford come into the shop with the complaint of it being hard to turn and it ended up being the joints in his steering shaft.

That is a good tip. I use dex3 in the case so I couldn't tell by that but when I seperated it from the adapter I did notice a lot of fluid in the adapter and that would make since cause the trans was under load pullin the extra weight. I'll crawl under the truck and have a look today. Thanks for the tip brother, def helped out big time.

Have u taken the shaft off n made sure none of the joints have seized up? just a thought and an easy troublshoot.

So when I got back from deployment I had to replace the chain in my transfer case, I also replaced the output shaft bearing and seal because of a vibration. About two weeks ago I towed a living room set home on a car hauler and noticed my furniture was covered in trans fluid. Got under it and it's coming from the transfer. Pulled the transfer yesterday and noticed the majority of the fluid is coming from the breather tube? It wasn't overfilled because I checked the level before I drained it and the fluid looked fine. When I seperated it I noticed the pickup screen was damaged slightly like it was rubbing on a gear and one of the little metal clips that go around the pump was on the magnet and the pump has a little bit more movement than it did before. Dont think its a big deal and am gonna order a rebuild kit but am wondering if maybe it's the pump going out cause there shouldn't be any pressure in the case at all right? Wondering what y'all's thoughts are and if anyone knows the part number for the screen cause I can't find it. Thanks fellas, just tired of pulling this thing out and wish I could afford a new unit but have a baby on the way in three months so gotta focus money elsewhere.

Got my mod2 45 this morning and I must say its everything I expected, it feels amazing in your hand and the bi-tone looks sick. Hopefully will get some time to go out and shoot it this week. Def the best 550 spent on a handgun thus far.

Go with the Volant power core, I had the regular filter that comes with the kit and can't say anything bad about it but knowing I have a filter I don't have to maintenance hardly at all is comforting. Plus it's the same brand filters we use in all the military trucks and if it can last a dust storm in Afghanistan and keep on keepin on I'm sold.

Just pre-ordered the new Springfield mod.2 xd45 sub compact. Wondering if anyone has had a chance to hold that and what they thought of it comparison to the older version compact?

I cut my cats out when the clogged up and drove it with straight pipe for over a year without a tune and never threw a code. Just put new cats in it a month back and now it's saying I need two after o2 sensors. Crazy

Put some pics of this stuff up brother and you might find more attention to it. Mine started growling last night again so looks like I'll be pulling it out once again and tearing it apart. Good luck

I was loosing my mind working on a supercharged jaguar today replacing the knock sensors and motor mounts and the wife suprised me with lunch and a matchbox super fast silverado ss truck in the origional packaging black. Totally forgot about how frustrated I was with the car and everything seemed to fall into place after that. That's all

Read a while back that California car covers are top of the line for fitment and durability. Hope this helps
