as long as you leave the cats on, how would your chip or a tune affect smog? Trucks now a days are a lot cleaner and i think you would really have to go out of your way to make it fail a smog test. I think. And i know i wasnt there, but im sure he didnt have a s/c.

I got one. Thing is toyota kinda made sure that if you disable the speed limiter, abs and traction control go with it. There is a guy claiming to do custom reflashes and tcu upgrades, but you gotta send both you ecu and tcu to him. So far no ones tried him, but he claims he can do disable the speed limiter and only the speed limiter with just tuning.

So far no one has been able to take off the speed limit on our tundras. so if you go faster than 115mph you got em hands down. I would not recomend racing from a rolling 40 cause thats our sweet spot, unless your pretty modded. Not all TRD's are S/C, its more of a suspension package. More likely, the RCSB sport packages are sold w/ the S/C, but either way its an add on, and not really offered as an option on a new truck. The RCSB s/c run around 13 flat, double cabs mid 13's and crewmax's are high 13's, and MANY MANY of you are running faster than that, so a lot of you have nothing to worry about. I believe the fastest tundra to date is running high to mid 12's on nitrous, he wont exactly say what else he has, he's worried it may get back to toyota and void his warranty.

Hey thanks for coming out last night jaime, sorry i didnt get more runs in. It was kinda late for me, and the lines were redicules. I know i could have done 1 or 2 tenths better with a couple more runs. Think someone on here had the "spinning aint winning" on their sig, and man aint that the truth.

i Know this. Just kinda commenting how far ford has fallen in performance with these newer f150s. I mean they put out more hp/tq than a lightning yet could touch one to save their life. Thats all i was sayin or tryin to say.

lol nice kill on a high 14 sec truck. jk. but seriously, lightnings they are not. 450hp 500tq and still in the mid to high 14's. Guess its cause they weigh so much. How much are you S/C SS's putting out?

lol ya and even worse is those are some rare trucks, so chances of your being at a red light like that again are slim. Ive only seen one other RCSB 5.7 in my area. Most RCSBs are 4.0 v6's and work trucks.

lol well at least you took the high road, i mean you had your family on the truck with you. He must have been 4wd or like you said, had a lot of practice, cause it is so easy to light up tires with these things, and just sit there smokin while the other guy passes you up. Not that its ever happened to me before or anything. (but i caught him and put at least 4 lengths between us and pulling, poor daytona hemi)

yup new truck, new year (well still an 08, but i keep it clean). Got some pics up in the album. I was thinkin of going this thur if not next week. All depends on wether or not i goto vegas this weekend. Ill let ya know by tomorrrow. Gotta co-worker with a HD F150 thats been wantin to run me too, soo we'll see.
